Since I'm not a participant, coach, or spectator at Albany HS track practice, your statement is even dumber than it appears on the surface..

Yeah that's pretty weird to me. I'd be really suspicious of someone advocating for minors to wear underwear at school. Seems rather self serving. Doesn't sound like you are on the parents side, sounds like you would have your own agenda.

 

Obviously you never went to a beach. Girls are far less dressed than that track team, and everyone does just fine. !!!

 

I don't go to the beach to view minors wearing little clothing and wouldn't die on a hill trying to get them to practice in their underwear at school. This thread has gotten really creepy quick.

 

I don't ogle minors either, but the fact that clothing on a beach is as minimal as it gets, this issue that the girls can't wear a sports bra is a joke.

Another example, ever run in a charity race or something of that nature, plenty of girls and women in sports bras.

 

Those sports bras are being worn - as tops - in gyms all over the world. Hell, the way they are now patterned, they are being worn out as tops. This seems prudish to me.

People have been wearing clothes to track practice since running started. Doesn’t the school get to make the rules? I’ve seen boobs a few times, I’m pretty sure I know a sports bra from a bathing suit. Anyway, this whole things is beyond stupid and the lady making a fuss is an attention-seeking clown.

Ran in the 80’s and 90’s women have been wearing sports bras for a long time. The athletes are 100% correct and the school should back the **** down lest the look stupid. Wait, they already do.

 

what if the school actually stands by their decision and doesn't cave every time some idiots think they're special? there's already no disciplne in schools as it is, is putting teenagers' tits on display a hill to die on? seems pretty stupid to me. This is a typical track outfit. So oppressive and Amish like! Creepy that our resident liberals here think that's too much clothes for a minor to wear at school.

not sure what party these teens were, they were fighting for equal rights and freedom

sure it got a bit out of hand, and had the school not done something risk it being considered sexual and the school supported it

but they do have a point, the boys should not go shirtless at school either

Don’t know anybody that uses a sports/running bra as underwear either.
