At least 1 dead and 5 wounded in shooting at California church

We have about 70000 plus deaths from overdoses.
As for comparing rifles to knives its simple . rifles only account for about 500 deaths a year . now out of that you have to account for suicides and actual accidental shooting from improper gun handling from cleaning accidents and hunting accidents .
This lowers the murder rate for rifles a lot .Then account for how many are ar 15s and you have a small number maybe 250 deaths a year from the evil black rifle . where there are about 1700 deaths a year from stabbing with knives. I doubt very many are from suicide or accidental stabbings . so if liberals are concerned about the evil black rifle they should be more concerned about knives and hands and feet and clubs because several times more people are killed with these then rifles .
Locking down the boarder would result in saving far more lives.

The fact that most homicides are done withhand guns does not make rifles or any gun other than a handgun more safe. What a ridiculous thing to say. Any weapon with a bullet is dangerous.

The pro gun owners on this thread attempt to deflect from what gun regulation is. They use arguments like its unfair to gun owners, unfair to good people who own guns, its not related to amount of gun ownership (guns in circulation), they won;t discuss gun storage laws, or gun screening laws.

In the latest insanity in Texas we see a young man of 18 right after his birthday go out and buy two rifles.Tell me where was his training? How was he screened? Those kind of issues won;t be discussed by the pro gunners on this thread. They will reduce and deflect all arguments down to how gun regulation is unfair to them, period,.
