I’m old enough to remember growing up during the Cold War into adulthood and what the Soviet Union was.

If you are still convinced Jan 6 is not "sovietization" and "sovietization" is what Democrats are doing, you should change your medicine.

I observe too much public behavior. I judge Biden and others by their behavior more than by their dogmatic words.

LOL, it sounds like I touched a nerve.

What is the difference between Josef Stalin and Josef Biden? The spelling of the names is about it.

Just me, no "yours". I guess I'll have to keep pointing out the spurious nature of you threads and posts and where your never ending attacks on "the left" are rooted; even though you and yours can't define "left". So, shoot yourself! 8)

No, no you don't. You listen to Faux News and read Blightfart.

Case in point you were presented with a thoughtful response and you resorted to boiler plate RW tripe.

    Americans don't like Trump.

Trump kneecapped his own Presidency with his incompetent performance, especially on covid.

So, you figure the DoJ should screw up whatever it is they're doing because Trump is crying wolf?
    Who says it's a pretext?
Your evidence the DoJ is "slow-walking" an investigation into Biden is what?
Back to urging the DoJ to compromise their investigation?
I see. It's okay for Trump to take documents, but not okay for Hillary? How about it being wrong in both cases?

This from the guy who knows almost nothing about economics. Hohhhhh-Kayyyyyy.

Without getting your fly-over mitts on tax revenue generated by those progressive urban elites, you'd have to pay a lot higher taxes and have a much lower standard-of-living.

    Is this what you want?

CALL IT WHAT YOU WILL IT SMELLS AS FOUL: The Left is Now Desperately Trying to Change the Meaning of the Word ‘Raid’.

'The idiots think if they change the word they erase the offense.'

"Following the FBI raid of Donald Trump’s Florida home, some people on the left have decided that the word “raid” is too harsh and makes them sound like the authoritarians they are, so they want to change it."

"Kamala Harris aide-turned-MSNBC host pleads: Don’t call FBI Mar-a-Lago search ‘a raid’"

"Former Kamala Harris aide Symone Sanders, now an MSNBC weekend host, pleaded with people to stop calling the FBI search of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence a “raid” on Tuesday."

And especially don't mention that these blundering heavily armed arrogant thugs went through Melania's underwear drawer.

    1. You are almost there crank. Now, if your previous reply included Democrats AND Republicans, I may have agreed to that post. But your programming simply won't allow for that. Hence you only blame one when in fact it is both.
    2. What is the definition of economic socialism crank? Economic socialism is the collective ownership of the means of production. Production in this case is services, actual goods. Thus, anything public is socialist by definition. What you are thinking of is political socialism. Political socialism is where the government takes ownership of the means of production, from goods to services, uses a form of centralized planning, and that the profit motive is not the primary factor in what is made. And that is not what the Democrats are doing, not even close. Democrats probably want the US economy more like Germany, France, or Great Britton. This is referred to as democratic socialism, or another term is social democracy. It is capitalism, but highly regulated by the government.

    3. Property and enterprise is what makes capitalism crank. The "common man to be self-reliant" argument is actually an argument for communism. It was one of the early arguments of Karl Marx and Richard Engles in their infamous book because that is exactly what was happening in industrialized Europe in the 19th century. The poor or working class was becoming larger and larger while the rich were becoming fewer and more powerful. They just used different words, such as proletariat, which is a laborer or common man, and bourgeoisie, which is capital. You just summarized what Marx was writing about. And yes, class struggle has always existed, but the difference with Karl Marx and the past is that Karl Marx has a specific economic theory to solve the root problems of capitalism.

    4. The small man always has empowerment. They just have to vote for the best candidate, to control what they can in their own small sphere of influence. They are always the smaller fish because there are always bigger fish, whether it be government business or another man with more moxie than you. The problem is that the GOP has made the common man the "victim" here with pseudo or fantasy persecution claims. You don't get what you want, they call it persecution. That is not disempowerment, that is an excuse, pure and simple.

If you want disempowerment, then we need to create two totally separate systems. One for "us" and one for "you." For "you," you will have separate bathrooms, separate drinking fountains, the back door to get the food, separate laundry facilities, and so forth. "Your" side will have the shacks and my side will have the "mansions." If you don't know what this is, this was Jim Crow in the South and some in the midwest with Blacks, or the laws that California passed against Asians, or placing Native Americans in "reservations" while being totally dependent on the government in giving them scraps. Or we can look at the Jews, the gays, and political opponents in Nazi Germany or in Fascist Italy. And there are countless others.

I am not arguing for this sort of thing, just pointing out what true persecution is.

Have you ever met someone from the Soviet Union who lived during that time?

Yes, I grew up during the cold war too. And yes, there was saber-rattling plenty of times. We attempted to spy on them and they did us. We were in numerous proxy wars from Asia to Africa to South America and even Europe. Not all proxy wars were shooting wars. You may want to read a book called "Small Wars of the United States: 1899 to 2009." It's an interesting book, to say the least, especially, when dealing with the cold war. Both sides were intervening in countries and regions. The government just kept that info away from the public, and for good reason. But the issue is that both the US and the USSR were fighting, in some cases, quite literally, for control of that country or region.

    The "democrat agenda" is what?
    What exactly are they creating?

More to the point—what do you MAGA types want? Do you want to get rid of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and Obamacare? Trump wanted to get rid of Obamacare. 85% of his income tax cut in 2017 went to people making $400,000 a year. The tax cut crumbs for average folks expire, but the cuts or rich folks are permanent.

When rich Republicans keep screwing you, they'll look for scapegoats—minorities, foreigners, etc. Will you guys continue falling for it?

FBI Dir. Christopher Wray Finally Responds to Raid of Trump Residence

Lawless thugs with the boyish faces of boy scouts are the most dangerous.

Whiny FBI Dir. Christopher Wray wants you to know that the real victims here are the arrogant heavily armed thugs who went through Melania's panty drawer because she is the wife of Biden's chief political rival.

"Despite all the questions surrounding the action, including the fact that it supposedly occurred due to a mundane dispute over some records, the real bad guys here are those criticizing the" heavily armed blundering FBI?

Some folks on the Left repeatedly run this play. "They lash out in ways that draw blowback, and then they try to disqualify that blowback by saying “I’m getting death threats.”'

They do this over and over and over again.

"In the seven years that the FBI has been ruthlessly, purposely targeting Donald Trump, not a single agent has been harmed as a result. The story here is not any threat to the bureau or its employees, it is the bureau’s own actions, and no amount of pointing at squirrels by Wray is going to change that."

"The FBI had a chance to treat political actors from both sides of the aisle equally. Instead, they treated Hillary Clinton with kid gloves, haven’t even targeted Hunter Biden at all, and sent" heavily armed supremely arrogant "agents after Donald Trump for a mere records dispute. That was Wray’s choice, and now he can face the consequences regarding public opinion and eventually in Washington if elected Republicans have any kind of a backbone." No worries there, the GOP has no backbone. They will rant rave, jawbone, all quite loudly while they actually do nothing that affects change.

"Wray and his cohorts aren’t immune from the principle of sowing and reaping. They wanted to go scorched earth and weaponize their bureau for political reasons, and that leads somewhere. They don’t get to slam on the brakes the moment things get uncomfortable. The FBI used to be respected by most Americans, despite its checkered history. Those days are over and for good reason."

"The story remains that the FBI is a corrupt dumpster fire that has two sets of rules depending on a target’s political persuasion. Wray had a chance to change that dynamic but he has only fed into it. "

You can't put it in your own words.

You don't know how the economy or government work.

You just spout stuff you hear.

Trump is referring to the pages in the Obama Presidential Library, which is maintained by the National Archieves. In essence, they never left government control.

feel free to go to Reagan's Presidential Library and ask to see documents. You will be asked what are your creditials, did you make an appointment, etc. Or should we arrest those in the Reagan and bush family too?

A valid search warrant is not lawlessness. It is the law. Second, they did their jobs. I have seen FBI agents raid homes before and they are very professional. I was even a part of a few.

Let's be honest here. If Trump was a regular GS 14 employee who did this and the FBI raided his home, would you be saying the same thing? Probably not. So why is Trump Different? Because he was president? Because you want trump above and immune from the law like a good little dictator? That is not the rule of law. That is the exact opposite.

The right isn't empowering the common man.
Roads may be created and/or maintained by a private company or created and/or maintained by government.
There are dirt poor countries with socialist economies and lots of socialist programs.
You're telling us public schools aren't socialist?
