US Farmers Sound Alarm As Crazed Biden/Dems Attack US Food Supply With ESG Mandates

Always the Authoritarian Mandates With These Out of Control Totalitarians. DO THEY NOT REALIZE WE LIVE IN A FREE DEMOCRACY WITH ELECTED LEGISLATURES? Who in the hell do these clowns think they are?

Insanely 'costly proposed federal mandate for greenhouse-gas reporting from corporate supply chains.'

The Deranged and Power Mad 'U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in March proposed requiring large corporations, including agribusinesses and food companies, to report greenhouse gas emissions down to the lowest rungs of their supply chains' for 'climate change.'

DOOMSDAY CULTISTS CLAIM THAT CLIMATE CHANGE IS GOING TO DESTROY THE EARTH.

Every Farmer is supposed to provide complete emissions data, fuel, fertilizer, pesticides, and other chemicals for every product for the entire lifecycle, even those portions they do not control.

“Our farmers do not have a team of compliance officers or attorneys, and they don’t have a network of people to help them understand this. They really want to make sure they are growing crops and raising livestock and that they take care of the food supply.”

'Agriculture industry supporters contend the pending SEC rule will hinder an already struggling food supply chain, driving up prices while harming small communities reliant on agriculture, and forcing many small and mid-sized operations across the U.S. to close.'

'A group of 24 Republican state attorneys general' have promised to fight this, citing 'U.S. Supreme Court decision in West Virginia v. EPA that a federal agency does not have' unchecked 'authority to regulate greenhouse gases.'

SEC Chair says 'not the intent of what we did'.

We aren't arguing your intentions but the consequences.

Among multinationals, that also must comply, only Walmart has pushed back, many of the rest state the same challenges, but fear being smeared as 'not caring about the climate' by the heavy handed authoritarian madmen that hold so much power in these rogue federal agencies.

Always these lawless bastards are trafficking in demands and fear. Comply or be destroyed.

Walmart, using the tee-shirt pictured above to make the point: They told 'the SEC that it could not correctly determine the emissions footprint, for example, from a T-shirt.'

“To accurately calculate those emissions requires information from multiple parties about the agricultural practices of the cotton fields providing raw materials, the energy used in the fabric mills and sewing facilities that assemble the garment, the fuel sources of the vehicles used at each stage of transportation, and the choices a customer made regarding how to wash and dry the item over the product’s lifecycle,” the company wrote in a 10-page comments letter, signed by three corporate officers.'

    A COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS DEMAND.

This clown claims that 'climate change' is such an immediate and looming disaster that it justifies their totalitarian demands on a Free People.

She doesn't view us as "free", she views us as "ruled" with her as one of the "rulers". We aren't 'ruled', we are 'governed' by those we chose to represent US.

The Cult-Like 'Biden White House’s green crusade has taken aim at entities who do not conduct themselves in line with the belief that climate change is the' “number one issue facing humanity.

They want Leftist Scoring to control money lending so that they can crush any Free American that does not eagerly bend the knee to their demands for enthusiastic obedience to their climate cult.

They are warned, as crazed cultists they will not listen, which means hauling their asses back into Court, making them show in writing where OUR Elected Legislators have clearly granted them the authority to make these heavy handed demands, which they will not be able to do, because we have never granted them this authority through our freely chosen representatives. The Court will have no choice but to recognise this obvious truth, which is why too many on the Left are attacking the Courts.

And, this election will further demonstrate an overall lack of voter support for such madness, which is why these folks are so desperately attacking our election system.

Just 7 weeks, and the voters have an opportunity to impose the restraint of law onto these out of control bureaucrats!

The funny thing about farmers is, we never see them. We just see the produce and meat and dairy conveniently laid out for us in the supermarkets.
I don't really get the ALL OR NOTHING approach of the left when it comes to the environment.
    Lets just pick one thing.
    Pesticides
I'm not a pro farmer but i am a gardener and I can tell you there are organic one that work just as well. If they dissected this issue and focused INDIVIDUALLY on every single aspect, I bet they can find some middle ground.
It really is a sad place our country is in. SUPER SAD
we could fix a lot of things with some compromise

Joe Biden Gets Uncomfortably Lost and Confused at Globalist Conference

'Joe Biden spoke to the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, but the most disturbing part of his day happened afterward. The president took that stage at an event sponsored by The Global Fund, which does work regarding AIDS and other diseases, and things went off the rails. In this case, quite literally.'

The video at the link is the most disturbing so far.

'Biden appearing to be completely dazed and confused, fumbling around the stage. Meanwhile, another man is speaking, trying to thank him for being there while the president appears to have no idea what’s happening.'

'He doesn’t understand where he’s at and where he’s supposed to go.'

'This isn’t just a few seconds of a brain fart, either. He shuffles around in different directions for half a minute before the video ends.'

'Things like this take on a special significance when Biden is overseas, appearing on the national stage. Adversaries of the United States see this stuff and they do not fear this man. In fact, if recent Iran and Russian behavior is any indication, they fully believe they can take advantage of him. There are real consequences to having a president who doesn’t appear to actually be functioning as the president. '

    And his backup? Kamala Harris.

How many coal power plants are there in the world today ...
    www.iceagenow.info/how-many-coal-power-plants...

Sep 30, 2019 · Total 3,534. That’s 5,615 projected coal powered plants in just 8 countries. USA has 15 – building 0 more..Total 15. And Democrat politicians with their “green new deal” want to shut down those 15 plants in order to “save” the planet.

Do the Democrats think those 5,615 coal power plants across the globe just keep their pollution in their country, that it doesn't cross borders to flow around the world? What are we doing to shut those power plants down? Europe is thinking of restarting many of the plants they closed because of the shortage of gas, because of the Russian/Ukraine war.

Liberals are generally 5-10 years behind on European Left spectrum policy, and even though that gives them the benefit of seeing all of the numerous mistakes of the European Union, it doesn't stop them from implementing said policy despite the consequential results! It's as if they believe, well we can do it better or something.

Anyone more concerned about carbon dioxide than they are about spraying glyphosate and atrazine on our food and everything else is not really an environmentalist.

What everyone needs to understand, is that there are zealots out there that really believe the sky is falling narrative...

    but,

The people above them, the Establishment, the Elites - from the International Bankers, through the corporate class, the political, media, and academia classes... WEF, BIS, UN, etc.

The people at the top of those food chains know full well that climate change and global warming is a fraud.

Their goal is to destroy western civilization, kill hundreds of millions of people, and reorder the planet under their unquestioned rule.

They've been talking about these things quite openly for decades.

We live in an Orwellian world.

Eventually there will be no recourse.

As with all things authoritarian, eventually we'll be on the wrong end of a gun.

I do personally prefer permaculture. If you run a homestead then it can provide a good deal of self-sufficiency, as the fertilizer shortage shows.

The issue is it uses a lot of land, and flicking a switch to force farmers off nitrogen fertilizer will result in widespread famine.

The less things you have to import, the more things you can produce yourself on your homestead, the better.

Yes, that's all well and good, but the left doesn't recognize your ownership of the land - you stole it from a person of color.

Remember Obama going around the country spitting on small business owners... "you didn't build that", et al with the rhetoric.

In Russia and Ukraine, in the 1920's, they took every last kernel of corn and shred of wheat to the cities, and left the farmers to starve - which of course they did. Millions died.

To the left, that is "progress", and "justice", and all the other pithy buzz words.

Make no mistake, these people mean business, and they have every intention of killing on a scale never seen before.

    The past is prologue.

I escaped California five years ago when I retired. I came to a place that I felt would be a good place to be when the inevitable chaos came along. If I walk a mile north of my home, I'ma at a big mall, walk a mile south and I'm in a huge hospital complex, a mile east and I'm in farmland, a mile west and I'm in a pasture with cows or horses.
Farmers and ranchers here are beginning to sell locally, to avoid the growing transportation costs and hassle of selling to the big supermarkets. I'm all for it... I love affordable ribeyes.

Environmental policy has to be weighed against the damage it will cause in other areas. Protecting the environment is important without a doubt. But other things are important to. Unless the government is prepared to finance the farmers to be able to determine this information about their crops, this is just bad policy. Well intentioned bad policy.

We can adapt to live with or without a lot of things but food isn't one of them.

Remember in the Holodomor many families burned all their fields, burned their properties down, and slaughtered their animals to prevent the left from getting them. They did so knowing their family would starve. A big F U to the communists. Much of that will occur again. Not all of them went quietly.

    Come and ****ing take it.

Yea, and back when they banned DDT, people were going nuts the same way they are now.

This is no different. They will adapt and it will be fine.

Biden started this on day 1 with E.O. 13990

    Sections 1 and 5

    https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2021-01-25/pdf/2021-01765.pdf

He ordered all the government agencies to tally the "carbon cost" of everything.

You know, life's hard enough without silliness like that going on. Basically they are adding to government and taxing people extra for nothing. There is no benefit to the people from these policies, none.

This is the opposite of "promoting the general welfare".

Mmm! I love the smell of glyphosate in the morning! That reminds me, soon as the dew burns off I got some spraying to do.

Actually, this isn't the same. Do you understand chemistry or agriculture at all? NO? yeah, that's what I thought. I suppose you believe that your produce aisle won't be impacted.. that's a stupid notion. Have fun foraging....

I have 20 acres, grow enough purple hull peas to keep me fed if it comes to that.

    Thanks for asking.
