Then don't violate the law.

Then don't make it mandatory and don't pretend that you can read minds and hearts and on the basis of such 'reading' declare that innocent people are guilty of 'bias'.

I think you have to be conservative to understand it. Conservatives view the term as referring to lefist actions they view as harmful to the country. Those are things like preferred pronouns, drag shows in schools, allowing men to compete in women's sports, pushing children into transgenderism, equity instead of equality, police defunding, putting the rights of criminals ahead of the rights of the public etc. That sort of thing.
