It disproportionately impacts habitual criminals and scofflaws, yes. If those happen to over-represented by blacks, tough, clean up their own crap 'culture'. Teaching kids to worship and imitate street thugs is never going to turn out well. Apparently black leaders are keeping that a secret from the hood rats they exploit for personal gain.

In order for your scenario to work a law still had to be broken.

Good. While is doesn't do a thing from person A selling his firearm to person B who could be a thug, terrorist, wife beater, psychopath ... you name it.

Things can be done. Predominantly the typical red states with weak gun laws show that their way is not the right one and that they must adopt stronger laws. Criminals operating from cities like Baltimore and Chicago get LOADS of weapons from them weak gun law states.

Seriously man. This is day one ****. If you settle out and don't get the 'not an admission of guilt' literally, legally speaking, the assumption is fair to level and you have no legal recourse.
If you'd had a not an admission of guilt boilerplate clause, and better a confidentiality clause, you would not have that problem.

Again: Its not speculative non-sense. Its a reasonable assumption based on the facts of paying out.
Its a civil suit. Its always, only, ever, just about the money.
You do a CBA. If there is more in the neg column, you settle out. If you do that without protecting yourself, people are going to (rightfully) assume that you plead out because trial was too much of a risk of loss IE your case sucked diseased moose wang.

And in those cases where you don't get it confidential and without an admission of fault, its fair for a person to assess it as "they were damaged in the amount you paid out because you were at fault since you settled without a protection against admission of fault".
Which is what is occurring. Surprise surprise.

You can say this, but the fact is that the obvious red states with weak gun laws simply do got high homicide rates. And cities like Chicago and Baltimore with high homicide rates can trace loads of guns use by criminals from states with weak gun laws. And I'm not blaming guns. I'm blaming crappy laws and weak policies.

While you can say it's freedom to just sell your weapon to in private to a terrorist. But most Americans want tough gun laws.

can you prove that those states with soon to be stricken as unconstitutional gun laws are safer due to their violations of our rights.

That's what you pretend. I always have blamed the weak laws from those states for aiding criminals.

Well Chicago contributes to about half of the homicide rate in the state. And LOADS of guns from the criminals in Chicago come from Indiana which is just 1 footstep away. So you know... facts are facts.

The number is stamped into the metal and subsequently the metal is deformed within by being slightly denser. And that change in density remains to be measure until you melt it away.

Lol no, they are not. You could've given that all of a full 30 seconds of thought: A plea deal is a settlement and guess what you're doing when you plead out.

If a settlement doesn't contain the "not an admission of guilt" boilerplate dude, its definitely not a denial of fault.

The reason that boilerplate exists is because when you don't put it in there you legally allow them or anyone to assert it was your fault and that's why you paid out.

Serious questions: Why do you think that boilerplate exists if not for the purpose described? For what purpose was it created? For what reason is it now 'standard' in the industry?

Sounds like you'd have to alter federalism to **** with Indiana's laws there Illinois. Build a wall around your state I guess. Or stop disarming your law abiding citizens since that's... you know... violating the 2nd amendment.

Wow that's super cool!! Must've seen that on CSI!!!
You take a dremmel tool and grind off the whole line. You take out just as much for serial number 8888888 as you do for serial number 1111111, because you're grinding off that whole layer not just obscuring the numbers by grinding them flat. You grind them flat, then remove the base layer to avoid JUST what you describe. Takes a whole 5 seconds. WHO THE **** taught you how to ditch a serial number?

If they come from Indiana then those guns are in Illinois illegally.

So you want to blame Indiana for Chicago's criminals. Put a wall around Chicago then. As for the gun, don't give the buyer your business card. It will just be another stolen gun. Not that I would do such a thing. But that's because I obey the law. Unethical people do not. All that regulations can do is minimize negative outcomes. Nothing is perfect.

So tell the blue cities to stop manufacturing so many criminals. Or let those blue cities pass tough people laws to prevent their criminals from traveling to other States. That's the problem in your scenario. And as far as I know, private gun sales are not a major contributor to gun crimes. Studies show the numbers are negligible. At any rate, the real problem is promiscuity, out of wedlock births, and Fatherless/Husbandless homes, supported and encouraged by welfare.

I already sourced that the states with the most homicides are red states with weak gun laws. In fact, there is an entire thread build around that fact.

yet you fail in the most critical area-you cannot prove that the gun laws you call weak are the cause of that crime rate and you ignore that some of the freest states have very low crime rates involving firearms

I said the DC and Chicago gun bans were unconstitutional. the anti rights coalition said I was wrong because they still were in place. Guess who was right?
