Will Biden's poor poll results translate into an election loss, if held today?

I've thought about this, and I don't think so, and here's why.

The polls reflect people's desire to not have Biden run.

I don't want him to run, either.

Thing is, if the choice is Trump v Biden, I'll pick Biden.

On the RCP averages, Trump is only a point ahead. That's not a lot.

It's just too soon to tell. Heck, maybe Biden is going to wait until the last
minute to announce he won't be seeking a second term, because, if he
did now, he'd be a lame duck for the rest of the year.

Ya never know.

 

I'm pretty sure no one much wants either Biden or Trump to run.
The thing is, the democrats don't have much alternative to Biden.
And whoever does end up being Biden's alternative needs to get their poop grouped tightly, now, or face the very real possibility that they won't even make the ballot.

Wouldn't it be nice if, for once, we could vote FOR a candidate for President, not AGAINST a candidate for President?

 

The ECV has a pro-GOP lean. Biden was 7.2 points ahead of Trump in the RCP at election time, and with a shift of just 20,000 votes in the key states, Trump would have been re-elected. The corrupt FBI and CIA's lies about Hunter's laptop handed Bribed Joe the election. People know they were lied to, they won't be fooled by something like that again.

And today Bribed Joe is 11.3 points behind where he was at this time in the last election cycle. He barely won last time, it's not looking good for Bribed Joe. He could be destined for nothing more than a very bad halftime show in a very successful Trumpian Presidency.

It's paramount that the controller's of USA keep biden going for as long as possible.

He will eventually be propped up by a broomstick and after he has died long ago, will continue to dictate foreign and domestic policy, the same way Stephen hawking did, as president of the USA.

So, of course President Biden did the annual president thingy of placing a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier yesterday.
But an interesting bit of editing skullduggery took place.
As usual, Biden got lost and needed a bit of direction. 0:45 on the below video.

The skullduggery came with C Span reporting their version of the wreath laying ceremony. No mention of Biden's lost little boy thingy, in fact, you have to look very closely to see that C Span editors very cleverly and professionally cut that part out. Watch closely from 2:50 to 3:10 below.
Now why would they do that?

Joe will get reelected and govern for the next five years. Now, if you folk are willing to gamble on a third party, we clearly know who Trump Ultra MAGAs are going to vote for.........make sure you have a really good hand if your are willing to gamble.

 

Polls at this point are indices of general discontent, not of how the prospective nominees will fare nearly a year from now.

Trump's desperate attempts to substitute bleating about his 91 criminal charges for a political campaign will impact his public disapprobation as the justice system serves the nation, albeit not with his cult who regard the Cry Baby as being above the law. They will just parrot their master's whining. I would not be surprised if there is a concerted, coordinated effort by prominent, conservative Republicans to repudiate Trump. He has befouled their GOP.

There are few signs that the President will become popular by November 5, 2024 either, but, as a sign of the times, there is no national political figure of either Party that engenders broad enthusiasm.

There actually are, IMHO, several alternative Democrat candidates that could step up; google it. Of the ones mentioned, in no particular order, that “I” like are Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, Pete Buttigieg, Jared Polis. But as you’ll see there are many possibilities.

Though tRaitor tRump is evil incarcerate, I didn’t actually feel I was picking the lesser of two evils in 2020. Then again, it is definitely true I would have voted for anyone but tRaitor tRump. He is, IMHO, the greatest threat to our Constitution the U.S. has ever faced.

 

Still, much more able and competent to serve the people instead of himself. Joe's no malignant narcissist.

 

He can't even remember where to go after he left the wreath. Not my idea of a highly functioning world leader. Too bad he didn't have the Easter bunny to walk him to his big X on the floor.

Well I see Trump offering big solutions to todays big problems. Sealing the borders, major deportations, punishing AG's who are soft on crime, tariffs on our enemies, punishing universities that teach to hate America. You know......big solutions for big things that will piss of a lot of folks that sell out America for profit!
