    Moral clarity:

    • Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., said, “I grieve for any innocent Palestinian, Israeli or Israeli soldier…anyone! It’s all tragic and there is a lot of blood….But every drop of it belongs on the hands of Hamas—AND ONLY HAMAS”
    • Political clarity: Fetterman understands and speaks for another constituency Biden needs: working-class Americans in Pennsylvania. It would be worth listening to them.

You can't expect to **** around in perfidy so many times and just be set back to status quo pre your perfidy.

Palestine can go become a buffer state between Iraq and Iran.

That probably isn't going to happen. The violence will likely never end until Palestinians have their land restored to them. Israel will be stuck with an insurgency that will only get much worse now, thanks to their butchery. I imagine a lot of foreign fighters will be joining in as well. That is just the reality of the situation. Israel could save itself a lot of heartache by just acting with some humanity and giving back the land they stole. It was taken in living memory. It should be returned.

The Gaza Strip was restored to them. Hamas took over and immediately acted to destroy the Gaza Strip resulting in tens of thousands of deaths - thankfully the vast majority of those deaths were Hamas terrorists.

No it wasn't. They've been under siege for well over a decade. They don't even have rights to use their own coastline. How is that in any way restored?? They have been completely under the thumb of Israel. Israel can completely oppress them even though there are no soldiers inside of Gaza by laying them under siege.

So you are saying there has been no siege and they have had full rights and access to their coast?

Everything that has happened in Gaza is the responsibility of Hamas.

I made this factual statement: Everything that has happened in Gaza is the responsibility of Hamas. Your interpretation of that statement is out of my control.

Why is their access to the coast blocked?

Why would they blockade the entire land border and then leave the sea and the airport open?

It is absolutely true. Hamas initiated the Gaza Strip hostilities by launching rockets into Israeli civilian neighborhoods in 2007. They have launched a total of ~ 30,000 since then. 13,000 in 2023. Hamas is responsible just as the Nazi’s and Samurai’s were responsible for everything that happened in WW2.

Hamas has killed hundreds of Palestinians each year, and detained thousands more. Hamas rockets are child's play compared to what Israel does.

from 1 January 2008 to 6 October 2024, 6,779 Palestinians were killed and 157,773 injured.
In that same amount of time, only 319 Israelis have been killed and 6,419 injured.

The 10% lunatic fringe world blames Israel. Moral and ethical people want the hostilities to end. Moral and ethical people clearly understand that the terrorist organization Hamas represents evil and that the parliamentary democracy of Israel is fighting against that evil in defense of the civilians of both Israel and Gaza. And people who take the time to understand the history of the attacks on Israel by Islamic radicals starting in 1948 clearly understand that all the deaths in the Gaza Strip since 2007 are the responsibility of Hamas.

You're ignoring the statements by NUMEROUS UN nations who have made strong statements in favor of the charges brought by South Africa.

Your perception of world opinion is WAY WAY off. Also, surrounding Arab nations who are trading partners with Israel are among those making strong statements against Israel's steps toward genocide.

    CORRECTION:
The Lunatic Fringe are the Zionist Zealots who attempt to blame THEIR victims

As any Moral and Ethical person with an intact Moral Compass will understand
and attest. YOU cannot use YOUR high tech weapons to kill, murder and maim,
multiple tens of thousands of Human Beings, many of whom are Children, and then
prevent any food, fuel of water to reach any survivors. Preventing anything that
might mitigate their suffering. And then to openly blame THEM for their own murder ! ?

    ............................................................................. SUCH LOGIC IS REPULSIVE

And how can YOU claim Israel as a proper functioning Parliamentary Democracy?
Do any NON Jewish citizens of the Palestinian West Bank or Gaza have a vote
...................................................................................... or any of the rights of Citizenship?

NOW Remembering that it is Israel that has rejected any Two State Solution.

    S
o these people are to be left in a Limbo under the boot of an unending Israeli
Oppression and the continual Colonization and Expropriation of their Lands.

Forced to live under a humiliating and violent Occupation committed by
a Supremacist Exclusivist, & patently Criminal Apartheid State

And YOU wonder why THEY resist and elements among THEM resort to Violence ?!

SUCH wonderful confusion and impeccable LOGIC IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE

And the Moral & Ethical people of the World now witnesses a disgusting and
......................... horrifically Violent slow motion Genocide and WE are aghast !
    ........................................................................................

    1. There is and was no way Israel (given its inherent weaknesses) could win a successful insurgency war in Gaza. Or even establish effective military control over a populated urban setting against a well trained and sufficiently equipped resistance force. For Israel to achieve anything resembling its declared war aims, it would need Gaza depopulated. Its residents either killed, starved or pushed out of Gaza. Hence, from early in the conflict, it was clear that Israel's deliberate tactics in this war will, and has been, to cause massive civilian casualties and damage in lieu of its inability to achieve any tangible or lasting military gains against Hamas.
    2. The above were well known and understood facts admitted by every serious non political or polemical assessment by western intelligence and military analysts. The rest is in the nature of nauseating propaganda. The kind that has completely taken over western political discourse and media coverage in this age of lies.
    3. Every country that stood by Israel, supported it, financed and armed it, is complicit in the deliberate genocide and ethnic cleansing Israel attempted in Gaza. Now, most western politicians are spineless cowards and moral eunuchs. Some may have felt that Israel can be given leeway to commit partial genocide to assuage its anger but can be reigned in thereafter. But the problem even with that was predictable from the outset. Netanyahu knows the minute this war is over, he will be out of more than just his job. Hence, Netanyahu and the entire Israeli establishment are focused on finding ways to unleash bigger wars that ultimately drag the US in the fighting. That they hope will prove to be their "get out of jail" card.
    4. In the meantime, the assessment by some 60 US intelligence agencies is that Israel will not be able to neutralize Hamas' military infrastructure and tunnels, predicting that Hamas will remain a fighting force for years to come. Iran's assessment, otoh, can be gleaned through a speech yesterday by Iran's Supreme leader, where he mentioned that 90% of Hamas' military capability and forces remain intact. Imagine any lasting ceasefire and no new wars for Israel. How will Israeli leaders and their mouthpieces explain the predicament Israel finds itself facing when the one thing they were had a clear consensus through their lies and propaganda at the outset of this war was that Hamas must be "destroyed"?
    5. Long way to explain why there will be no real ceasefire, there will be a lot more innocent kids dying, a lot more attempts to pin the blame on the ones with the least clout in the west politically, and probably at some point the bigger war the Israelis and their mouthpieces have been pushing for all along.

Hamas is on its last legs. The only remaining force is in Rafah. They will soon be eradicated as well. The Gazan people want Hamas destroyed and will work in sufficient numbers to mop up as required to return Gaza to a functioning and economically prosperous territory as it was before 2005. The only hope for Gazan civilians is for the eradication of Hamas by the IDF and implementation of some form of Netanyahu's "The Day After Hamas" plan.
