When you look at reality, what's really taken place in the world since War 2, or a subsection of that time, "liberalism imposing collectivist ideologies" has had no affect at a national level ... AT ALL. Give us and example where it has.

On the other hand conservative ideologies have affected the U.S., many times and many ways and in a negative way. It's been conservative ideology that has moved America from being the worlds manufacturer to a point where our National Security is at risk because we can't make the things we need to arm ourselves militarily and technologically against foreign attacks on our industries and on our government.

Not only has conservative ideology had a negative affect on national security but it has destroyed what used to be called "The American Dream". Who, now, dreams of two cars in a house that is owned by those that live in it; paid for by the single income of the wage earner supported by the house keeper that raises the kids to be the next generation of Americans that will make the world better for the next generation?

Not that all of that ever really existed, or should have. But we, as a society are so far from that dream that what was real and what wasn't doesn't matter. Because most Americans are living pay check to pay check. they don't own their home, they're lucky if their car runs reliably and their kids raise themselves while both parents work. They will NOT be better off than their parents were. That's NOT the fault of Liberals no matter how hard you try to make it so.

NONE of the erosion of the "American Dream" can be laid at the feet of Liberals. But trickle down and globalization very much are the culprits.

In the end as far as a dictator or the destruction of democracy, it’s ends up what the people believe or don’t believe. There’s been so much negative campaigns trying to paint the other guy as the most evilest scumbag on the face of this earth over the last 30 years or so,that talk of a dictator or ending democracy just rolls of folks backs as normal negative campaign rhetoric. Folks have got so use to the negativity that they ignore it.


As for Biden being a very good president, most Americans disagree with that. 85% of Democrats approve of the job Biden has done, 6% of republicans, but that is to be expected. The party of the president always thinks their president has done a great job, the opposition party not so. I usually throw out both major parties in subjects like this and look at what independents have to say, the non-affiliated, less to non-partisan group. Only 35% of independents think like you as to the job Biden has done. 60% disapprove. Approval of Biden’s overall job performance is at 40%. Meaning 56% of all Americans think Biden’s has done a poor job.

Personally, I think Biden has done an okay job. Not great, not bad. But one should remember that in 2020 folks voted for Biden to be a transition president. Someone in-between Trump and whoever came next. Transition presidents don’t run for reelection. This is probably another reason Biden is behind in the polls. Biden was a good, safe bet to defeat Trump in 2020, that is what most Americans wanted. But what most Americans want in 2024 is a president not named Biden or Trump to guide this nation past the year 2024. But what most Americans want or in this case didn’t want has been totally ignored by both major parties. We have approximately 60% of all Americans not wanting Biden reelection, we also have approximately 60% of all Americans not wanting Trump to regain the white house. Who wins? Flip a coin. Or one could put it whoever wins between these two, it will be a winner that wasn’t wanted by most Americans. The least unwanted candidate will become president.

The words definition have absolutely nothing to do with the man; detractors make of them whatever they need them to.
