I'm sure you know this, but when Trump said that he was referring to what he'd do on day one and that is secure the border, drill baby drill, and later he added that he would reverse Biden's horrible EV mandate. That's not being a dictator, that's telling the country what he wants to do if the country elected him. A dictator is someone who forces people to buy something they might not want, closes down businesses and arrests the owners if they try to open them up, or force auto makers to make only the kind of cars the dictator approves of.

I'm amazed that anyone would bring up the inflation act, during a period of soaring inflation with no end in sight, to defend Biden.

well the second amendment states that the right of the people shall not be infringed. If you support INFRINGING on the RIGHT that means you are an enemy of our constitutional rights

According to our Constitution a person is innocent until found guilty by a court of law. Just to head you off a bit, an investigation by congress is not a court of law.

 

this is some serious comic relief here.

 

you have to explain where a government got the power to actually infringe on the second amendment. Gun banners quote this DICTA all the time and continually prove how little they understand about governmental power under our constitution. the second amendment is not about what the people can do but what the government CANNOT DO

 

It was a choice between Trump and Biden. I chose the lesser of two evils. It appears my choice was correct, because we were better off under Trump for a number of reasons which I have mentioned previously.

But in the 250 years since the 2nd Amendment was enacted, arms have grown in capability and we, as a country, have decided that some of those arms are not covered by the 2nd Amendment.

For example, we SEVERLY restrict who can own a fully automatic rifle. We don't allow people to own grenade launchers, flame throwers or hand held surface to air missiles.

I don't see anyone from the pro gun movement arguing that the ban on those weapons constitutes a violation of the 2nd Amendment. So we, as a nation, do agree that the 2nd Amendment has limitations. What we are arguing now is where to draw that line.
