I don't know, I did not do any research on this particular issue, but only offered my observance on the Dr Phil show in general.
There may be no way to verify what they said or claimed, or at least without great difficulty and access to medical records or people involved, who I assume remained unnamed.

Meanwhile, this case worker, who wasn't actually a medical professional, has had her stories contradicted by medical professionals who work at the clinic, patients from the clinic, and the parents of patients at the clinic. I referenced more than 2, and the articles had comments from the people I mentioned. None of which you care about because you only fake caring about this stuff. The people referenced in these articles include medical professionals, patients, and parents of patients who refute the lying sack of **** you are worshipping. Some people consider castration and genital mutilation to be medical care, but it can also be medical malpractice when done on children who have trouble figuring out who their favorite Pokemon is. The science supporting this is murky, at best. And calling it murky is extremely generous. There's studies that show most of these kids who have gender nonconformity when they're children grow out of it when they become adults. That means most of the time you remove a penis or perform other forms of genital mutilation on children you're setting them up for a lifetime of mental distress to alleviate temporary distress as children. There's a good chance the idea of removing a child's reproductive organs because they had a temporary mental health condition is going to be looked at in the future with similar disdain as lobotomies.

Should life altering elective surgery be performed on kids who's brains are fully developed enough to make these decision?.....the answer is almost always the same....'hell no it shouldn't'.

Why do you have such a problem with kids waiting until they're adults to make adult decisions regarding elective medical procdures.

 

Read the report I linked. The NIH reviewed the science to provide guidance. Their conclusion is that the "science" supporting your position is flawed.

 

That was, indeed, the implication based on the position offered. They are too young to decide, and their parents and doctors can't be trusted to help make that decision.

LOL. Explain to me how you can identify which kid with gender dysphoria will continue having gender dysphoria beyond adolescence. You can't. Most will grow out of it and we have no reliable means of knowing which ones will. So cutting off their penis seems a bit extreme in my book. And as I said, I believe there's a good chance that we look back on people cutting off children's penises due to temporary adolescent dysphoria the same way we look back at lobotomies. Until the science is better understood and we can better identify individuals who will have long term gender nonconformity it seems like too big of a risk that is driven by social justice warrior types and not by those who embrace science. And we know the people promoting this don't actually care about the science or the harm because they keep attempting to silence and deplatform the detransitioners. If they cared about getting the science right they would embrace their stories and want to learn from them rather than sweep them under the rug as an acceptable causality to the trans movement.

 

Trans and gender dysphoria are not the same thing. Research shows that gender affirming care is overwhelmingly a good thing for these kids. The ones who change their mind are extremely rare and are almost always due to mistreatment. And, again, you aren't telling the truth when you talk about "cutting off their penis." Try being honest.

Not only is it not happening, but they immediately try to make it sexual when they talk about it or anything else involving trans kids. It is DEEPLY disturbing to see how eager they are to sexualize kids like this. It's happened in the thread. Any time I support trans kids, they start talking about sexualizing them. WTF.
