I truly believe that a better description of Trump's Party should be Make America Hate Again. When he was president, there was constant Hatred from the podium, and if he's reelected expect MUCH MORE of the same. Biden is a statesman, and you don't hear all this hatred. Examples:
    • Trump calls his political opponents names, and adds hateful adjectives to their names. "Birdbrain", "Shifty Shiff", "Desantimonius", "Crooked Joe", etc. You don't hear this from a statesman.
    • Our streets were chaotic under Trump. They are relatively calm under Biden. One could blame the history, but Trump certainly doesn't do much to diffuse the situations. If anything, he fans the flames.
    • As soon as he got in office, Trump started throwing out hateful insults to any media outlet that wasn't ALT RIGHT, calling them "Fake News". New phrases were created like "Alternative Facts", "Lamestream Media".
    • Trump awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to another HATE promoting, bombastic blowhard - Rush Limbaugh.

Bitterly clinging to their guns and bibles

You could fit them into what I call a basket of deplorables

    They're all ultra MAGA fascist

Three guesses who said these things and the first two don't count.
And you'll notice that the people that said these things were punching down to the average American citizen not punching up or across to their colleagues

There's a certain amount of rhetoric in politics. And I would agree that both Parties, and almost every politician resorts to rhetoric. I'm talking about ingrained, every-day hatred.

So it's just political rhetoric when our leaders talk down to the American citizens but it's hate when someone else punches up or across to the upper crust.... Sure it is

Politics is a dirty game, and words are said, but there is no arguing Trump has taken the hate to a level never seen before, and he keeps it coming on daily bases. It cost him 2020 when millions potential supporters turned against him, and it can happen again in 2024, because it seems his anger and resentment just keeps getting worse.

What is the picture hateful towards? Seems like a pretty innocuous picture.

Of the sort that was very nearly gone until Obama. The difference between Trump amd the left is that Trump hates people trying to crap in his shoes the left hates whole groups.

Id say democrats actively hate the public. We see it all the time. What you call "rhetoric" doesn't mask this. And the real issue is that what you've identified in the OP is simply the reaction of lots of folks to this active hate from the left. What did y'all expect would happen?

So let's go back to 2016. His name calling of his primary opponents 'started it'? Could you give me some examples?

Why not go back to 2008? 2012? Democrats have always called others names. Hilldebeast in 2016 referred to half the nation as deplorable. Obama called half the nation rednecks who cling to their bibles and guns.

Ridiculous. You know who actually "hates" America? Democrats. It's why they are coming after our rights and freedom. And what you see as "hate" is simply the reaction to the policies of democrats trying to destroy the nation. This is what you folks do. deflection. Try to make everyone else the guilty of your own sins.

Trump then never fired first. The funny and often spot on nicknames Trump threw at those who attacked him were hilarious and there inability in most cases to counter effectively showed them to be the light weights they then were some have since grown. It is interesting to note that the only one he really couldn't nail down, Ted Cruz, is now an ally of sorts.

Nail down? He called him "lyin Ted" + other childish names and he also insulted is wife. You might find such behavior hilarious, but its really low class. Trump is a man with no honor. There is no ifs or buts about it. No one else comes anywhere close to his trashiness.

It's not "ridiculous" at all. Is there anything that I mentioned that isn't grounded in fact regarding Trump's actions or his words? Regarding history. Maybe you like unrest in our streets, and the fanning of the flames of discord. I prefer the Statesman approach of Joe Biden.

That's why I said he couldn't really get him nailed down. It wasn't accurate. Trashiness you mean you don't think things like orange turd are perfectly fine or calling half the country deplorable?

How can you say "Trump never fired first"? Did Nikki Haley call him derogatory names? I voted for Nikki Haley in the Primary. Trump said that "Nikki Haley donors aren't welcome in MAGA." Good! I want no part of him, his MAGA ugliness, nor his Hate rhetoric.

Now that's funny. Joe Biden and statesmen are two words that should not appear together in a sentence unless the word 'not' is between them.

Obama was a fine statesman. So was Reagan and GH Bush. This isn't a Party thing with me. Trump espouses hatred like no other recent president - bottom line. I think the most recent politician that could be considered close to Trump in the hatred department is Joseph McCarthy.

He can go lower, he's bottomless, people underestimate this, it's ingrained in his mental defects. He can never be trusted with any governmental position and influence.

You're equating saying something once in a specific context with a guy who says things like this habitually in most sentences? It's just not the same.
