The only SPIN is claiming we have 'open borders.' You obviously have never been to the border because we have walls, patrol agents, gates, etc. You can't name any legislation Democrats have passed or proposed for open borders because you know it's a blatant lie.

A four year old study from the liberal Univ. of Wisconsin is one of your links, and another one from always super-liberal NPR is the other one? Probably pretty biased, but to speculate that, going forward, the crime rate would necessarily drop by 50% is way too speculative on your part. We've had so many hundreds of thousands of 'migrants' pouring over the borders just since Biden took over that we haven't gotten enough dependable information to make any concrete determinations yet.

One thing is for sure, and that is that we as a nation would be a hell of a lot better off without any of them being in here now!

 

The Cato Institute does have a good reputation for factual reporting, I'll give you that. But the information in that article is four years old! How much have things changed and probably gotten much worse since Joe Biden became president? It is estimated that 7.2 million migrants of all kinds have come into the U. S. since Biden took over. Not all of them are criminals, but the truth is that we don't know how many actually are since Biden, Mayorkas, and that Democrat bunch came into power. Most of them are just opportunists and asylum scammers who want the American taxpayer to give them a free ride in return for their eventual votes for Democrats.
