Temperatures also increased because we are coming out of an ice age. Temperatures also increase because of widespread urbanization and its heat sink effect.
So what is irrelevant about the increases in global temperatures and atmospheric CO2 from human activity and climate change in my lifetime?
So what relevance is that to the increases in global temperatures and atmospheric CO2 from human activity and climate change in my lifetime?
And that has caused the recent climate changes in my grand children's lifetimes, and caused glaciers and ice caps to melt and accelerate the greening of the Antarctic Peninsula.
So what caused the temperature increases? Which is why increased atmospheric CO2 from human activity has increased global temperatures.
We are coming out of an ice age. Just as coming out of a winter every year causes the temperature to increase Maybe. Temperatures also increase because of widespread urbanization and its heat sink effect.[/QUOTE]
Just more contentless tripe, as usual. You do have a knack for asking the most irrelevant possible questions.
I recall a study that estimated that white roofs and roads would reduce temperatures by 2 degrees. A 1.4C increase in the last 150 years could be due solely to urbanization and the heat sink effect
I did specify "could". I take with a grain of salt most global climate claims measured on the surface. Especially after they have made their adjustments to what has actually been measured. We really dont even have the ability to measure "global" temperatures with much accuracy here on the surface. I give more credibility to satellite measurements. They seem to always be less than what they claim is measured on the surface.
So how did they measure the temperatures 450,000 years ago, and did they use thermometers or their fingers? And what relevance is that to the recent increases in global temperatures and atmospheric CO2 during my lifetime?
IOW the recent increases in atmospheric CO2 from human activity increased global temperatures during my lifetime, as evidenced by the strong correlation between atmospheric CO2 and global temperatures.
So how did they measure global temperatures 450,000 years ago, and what was the accuracy then? And what is your evidence that satellite measurements are more accurate than surface measurements using thermometers? And what is your evidence that thermometers are not accurate?
