You want to pretend that is all that matters. carter didn't get indicted (he should have for his threats to the Olympians) but his impact on the USA was far worse than Nixon or any others till Biden. that's complete and utter bullshit. the covid deaths cannot be attributed to Trump. why don't you tell us what he should have done. many of the alleged covid deaths were lies-for example John Prine-the famous singer had terminal lung cancer and he was listed as a covid victim.

You do realize that even if you have terminal lung cancer....something else can kill you. Furthermore, Prine did NOT have terminal cancer when he died. He had surgery for cancer in 1998 and again in 2013. There is nothing to indicate he had cancer in 2020 when he died from complications from COVID

Furthermore ONE example (which I have just shown to be false anyway) of a death listed from COVID that wasn't actually COVID is not proof that "many covid deaths were lies"

 

people were encouraged to fudge reports and claim they were covid. Two people I know had advanced COPD and were in hospice and were listed as dying from covid. It was complete bullshit.

I am waiting for you to say what Trump should have done-based on the information AT THE TIME that would have 1) not hurt the economy any more than it was harmed 2) and would have markedly decreased the "deaths from covid". I also want you to explain under the tenth amendment what powers Trump had versus state governors

The first thing he will do is lean on Arizona government ignoring the reservations being ground zero for human trafficking and drugs. Phoenix is the main distribution point for the west coast and the state authorities used to go after it, but now they don't. Someone is getting paid. The minute a tribe ships child prostitutes off reservation land they are under state jurisdiction. You would never know it.
The second thing is go after their gambling operations. Money skimming is a family value, but the state ignores the taxes they are losing because Indian Casino's are a money tree for politicians.
Meanwhile Indians are dying from lack of medical care and addiction counseling on the reservations.

Then you should know why it was necessary for the alternate electors to have cast their votes and recorded them. Can you demonstrate such knowledge?

They were NOT "alternate" electors. They were FAKE electors. No state government recognized them. To be a legitimate elector you have to have the blessings of the state government. Even if you are only an "alternate". They had NONE. They tried to pass themselves off as the "duly elected and qualified" electors from their respective states. THIS WAS A LIE.

I like to think that the courts would have saved our asses. There’s so little validity to the false electors scheme that it would not have passed muster.

 

I agree. My only fear is that Pence would have bounced those electors back to the state legislatures and the Republican controlled ones would have confirmed with Trump.
Plus we are now seeing the glacial pace at which our courts move. How long would we have to fight it out?

 

I challenge you to watch Trump's "Gettysburg Address" and then get back to me on who is actually the senile one.
