You do realize that people on visa here also pay taxes. That doesn't entitle them to all of the same rights as citizens.

The same is true in Canada. If you're not a citizen there, you don't have any right to their national healthcare coverage -- especially when you're illegal.

 

I think the law of illegal immigrants is a poor one and that any one should be allowed to enter a country unless they have criminal charges against them in which case the country in question can decide if it wants to accept them. If someone is finding a job they should be require to get identification and submit information such as finger prints, dental molds or scans, dna and photo identification. This can then be used to identify criminals.

Anyone who has worked for a certain number of hours should be able to then apply for health care coverage which protects them and their children. Anyone who does not should receive minimal treatment and should take priority after those who have such. They can seek more advanced private coverage by family members or friends. Those who cannot work for medical reasons should also be covered by the standard but I'm referring to serious defects or complications. When a child is born they should also be identified or if they enter school and have not already been identified. Hard workers who haven't registered as citizens shouldn't be punished unless they have committed other more serious felonies.

Anyone who doesn't have money to purchase food may also receive low quality food but for a minimum of what is required for a healthy body. This would always be the same cheaply produced but safe goods.
They should also be provided with a clean living place. Nothing comfortable or private a cot will do fine with some public washrooms in a large building that can house many refuges with a medical student and a medical professional at the ready if need be. These should be organized by language and have an officer present at all times.

These policies should be made widely known as to encourage those who will work hard and require those who won't to come prepared. These places should be havens not heavens for those who need it.
Deportation should be illegal unless they have committed a serious offense.

Btw I don't mind raising taxes reducing military and closing loopholes to accomplish this my family is rich and safe enough we could do with some sacrifices i'm sure many other large earners are also capable.

 

If she has paid taxes to a country she is not a resident of, she should be owed her medical treatment. Either that or the government should refund her the money before they send her home.

Canada had no problem with her illegal status when she was paying taxes and supporting their healthcare system. it wasn't until she needed more than a band-aid that they cared.

she shouldnt have been there in the first place, what she did is illegal. she should have gone through the proper channels . this is the risk you take if you want to illegally enter another country.

Here's the deal:

An illegal gets any medical treatment he or she wants in exchange for a kidney, a lung, part of his or her liver, or an eye. The illegal gets to choose which body part will be extracted for transplant to an American. Mexico will become a reservoir of organs for Americans. That's what is called a "win/win" situation.

Well of course they don't. And for a very simple reason. NO ONE has a right to healthcare. Healthcare is nothing more then the fruits of the labor of healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, pharmaceutical companies, etc.) The only person who has the right to the fruits of that person's labor is that person themselves.

 

The word "illegal" should be a clue here.

Good. I am in the immigration process right now in Canada, and I pay 200$ every 3 months for travelers insurance until I am either accepted as a permanent resident, or I am rejected and have to leave the Country. I think the U.S. should not give illegals health insurance. It makes me angry that my Canadian wife cannot immigrate to America because we are poor, but so many illegals are reaping the reward for their criminal actions. I know that many in America like to play the race card when it comes to illegal immigration... but that does not intimidate me in the least. Illegal immigration is not about race, it is about people entering and residing in the Country illegally. I am of Irish descent, and under Bush it is estimated that there were 30k Irish illegals in America... and I say... KICK THEM OUT!

 

Actually, odds are he/she does not know that. He/she probably does not know about the US visitor-tax system, where a visiting-worker signs up for a special type of SSN stating that the worker accepts that he/she shall be taxed, but he/she is not asking for nor is getting American social benefits because everyone knows the worker is here to save/send money back to Mexico, and is going to move back there every winter and upon retirement.
