    Actually you were until they made you a moderator...lol.

    Members cannot put mods on ignore, the site won't allow it. I tried with you and it kept saying I couldn't.

    Yeah, I see plenty of posts, even those I have on ignore.

    If someone quotes them in their own message I see it there or if I choose to view the comment myself. I still respond to some of them when I feel like it. My initial idea is to simply not waste space with their comments knowin past history, so if I want to I can view them depending on how interested I am in the topic. Most on my list have been banned though or no longer post.

    I actually never tried putting a Mod on ignore. I have about three members on ignore but they've been banned for a couple of years now so its not like I'm missing anything.
    I'm glad you can actually see enough posts to have a conversation, though!:omg:

    I was on a board where this guy had the number of ignores in his signature line with the latest person he had put on ignore. I think he was up to about 60 when I left.

    I'm guessing the whinging, whining Left wingers would have put themselves off air like a spoilt child who can't take the heat and logic (they just rely on hearsay and mumbo jumbo) of open debate. Just like our Bob Brown (as Green as a eucalyptus tree) in Aussie Land.

    I don't have anyone on ignore. There was only ever one guy, I think.

    Uff...I really liked him, under all his banned nicks:-D. Didn't agree with his political views, but he was a right good guy IMO and totally straight. Saw it like it is and told it like it is and saw through pretentious bs instantly. That's annoying about forums, on the odd occasion you genuinely like people they often disappear...

    I rarely use the ignore function. Never is the ignore permanent. If I do use the iggy' function its because I have become so angry at the dolt that I may get infracted if we keep on arguing, not debating arguing. Not good for either of us! Or that the member is posting only insults and lies...again not good! Ha ha. Or that his or her threads and replies have zero intellectual content other than the mentioned pure taunts and insults in their replies. Or, and this is the most rare one; if we have tried to communicate a simple idea and can not. And the temporary iggy comes only after say ten attempts at communicating an idea. I think I employed that particular version of ignore only one time here at PF.

    The reason I rarely use ignore is simple. Its similar to the old saying that " all ideas have some worth", and that I with time I understand no argument or disagreement is ever 100% the other guys/womans fault.

    FYI, I put people on ignore when they get particularly annoying and then take them off a few days later.
