Yet if you ban any kind of religious prayer in public or anything to do with God Catholics freak out. Do as I say, not as I do.
Here in the forward looking West, advertisers can use pictures of the Pope kissing a Muslim....oh no, we banned it.....
yeah that is pretty dumb i guess. but hey atleast christians do things via the law, unlike muslims who like to blow up buildings when something they dont like hits the papers.
when you have no argument go for the old "scoff at the truth" fallback. lol you people are seriously deranged.
one track mind more being like doing everything to attack christians as the evil people, yet ignoring what others do alot worse. actually thats more like being purposely ignoring facts since they dont agree with your agenda. you see im the person who does attack christians when they are in the wrong, as well as attacking others when they are wrong. unlike certain people obviously who hate on one and protect the other because anything else goes against their agenda, like apparently you and Colonel K apparently agree on doing. still stands, as sad as the christians gotta go so low as to threaten to sue someone because of something they dont like, atleast they arent blowing up buildings in protest like Islam. facts are facts.
If you look at my posts you will see that I always highlight comparisons and hypocrisy. I don't "hate" anyone. You won't see me supporting any aggressive act unlike many in this forum and definitely won't see me stating that "they are all the same" just because one person from a group of a religion or country carries out some form of crime.
if so you wouldnt have agreed with Colonol K's lil comment, knowing full well im telling the truth about the matter. you and him basically omitted the truth.
Hardly. This thread is about a banned advert in south Africa and your first thread was an attack at Muslims post 5 ("one track mind"). Then you went on to state that in South Africa the people were "behind and backwards" to which Colonel K posted that an advert that was banned in the US. You then asked him for details. Details were given to which you then attacked Muslims again ("one track mind"). Perhaps you cannot see it.
no one track mind since i bashed both the christians and the muslims, would seem to me if you read your own post you would see that. this is no different than when a thread is started about muslims being bad and people come counter with what jews may do. do you come with your BS "one track mind" crap on them? not hardly, nobody does as they are displaying their viewpoints on such matters. we were in a debate, and in a debate different points are brought up. cant handle the truth about both sides then dont speak about it. im man enough to accept points, its obvious guys like you only like to accept it when you agree with them, anything else is out of bounds or "one track minded" lol. get over it, i bashed both, sorry it doesnt go with your opinion, but what i saw was a simply backdown from both of you.
I find it strange how you all go on debatting it, with out all the facts, ignoring the views of someone actually living in South africa!! Lol AH
I think that's different. It seems to me that it was created with the full intention of offending and stirring up lots of media attention to the brand. They can withdraw it now because it's already done it's job (the British media being more than happy to jump on the righteous indignation bandwagon when it generates some cheap copy for them). It'd be interesting to know how many people complained in reaction to seeing the original poster rather than in reaction to seeing it reported in the media.
You may be right in your first statement but I don't fully agree with it because there was a series of 8 pictures depicting similar scenes between different two "enemies" but it would not surprise me that they knew what they were doing. I fully agree with your implication in the second paragraph.
How it seems to you is irrelevant, the picture simply represents the expression of agape across the religious divide. It even carries the word "unhate", which could hardly be clearer. Benetton is an Italian company, so what the British media thinks is moot. The picture was withdrawn under legal threat from the Vatican, not from complaints by the public.
