This is all BS. I just back from a college seminar with my high school daughter, and they were fawning all over her because she was a Woman interested in engeineering. They said they are constantly bombarded by companies needing women and minorities to fill jobs and internships (companies are blunt and specific, "they need 10 students, 4 need to be women or 2 need to be minority). This college is begging minorities and women to apply to the college of engineering and college of technology. If minorities qualified with good grades and good test scores, they would be in for sure.

It would be awful and stupid for a college to lower their standards to accept minorites. But, I guarentee it, if given the choice between a minority and a white male with the same application/scores/grades, the minority will be accepted.

Obama must know the schools are already doing what he's asking. So, what's the real reason?
