Yes, the internet can be a great educator-and this is surely the reason that political forums become infested with Hasbara apparatchiks, desperately attempting to defend the Zionist scum who are being daily exposed for the racist, belligerent bastards they truly are. It couldn't be more transparent-especially when the Hasbara need to use a bloody handbook full of tips on arguing, for heavens' sake! http://www.middle-east-info.org/take/wujshasbara.pdf

About time some American came out and said it in so many words..though it has been a long time coming. Most British Jews said it in 1922.

However, we can't put the genie back in the lamp.......so we have to deal with things as they are now....and America is simply not prepared to do that....they will lose too much in the way of backhanders and votes for those accepting the backhanders.

So until America enters the 21st century with most of the rest of the world, including the Arab states, stops making the Palestinians pay for the European guilt complex and tells Israel you have gone much too far...get over yourselves or we are out of here..........then nothing will change.

So Israeli intransigence, born six months after I was, will still be being encouraged by American money and the American veto long after I am dead and gone...because after all this time, I still see no will to alter the status quo from either of them.

I hope that change will come a lot sooner than you anticipate, Oddie. There are billions of people working on it :sun:

I hope so too..but I'm not holding my breath waiting for an attack of commonsense and decency to the average American brain.

Do members of Congress have brains, (out of interest you understand), or just gigantic egos and bottomless pockets which will never be filled in their lifetimes?

I am approaching, faster than I would like, my threescore years and ten.....and not overly inclined to cut my time on earth short just because other people can't do the right thing!

Most Congressmen are avaricious morons- that's confirmed by Hollywood on many occasions. I think they've succeeded in ruining representative democracy as a system. We can get rid of them though- and eDemocracy is one way.

Interesting handbook. I've seen several of these floating around over the years. It's the only way that Israel can attempt to defend its apartheid.

I think regardless of what led up to it, Israel earned their statehood ...again.. during the 6 day war, a tremendous military accomplishment.

That said. We Americans have dumped billions of dollars into their economy, billions of dollars into updating their military, they have nukes. The leaders admit they do not need our help. They are powerful country in the Middle East.

So why am I paying for their welfare? Why do our own have to go without to fund a country that is capable of taking care of itself?

Are they a bunch of bums? Do they not work? Do they not know the value of earning your keep?

Israel today is the product of our welfare.... dependent and not truly independent, which they fought so bravely for when nobody else would.

I pity the people of Israel today.

Let's not forget that Israel attacked first . It sort of diminishes the acclaim, wiping out an airforce when no war has been declared. Also, the Six Day War was just a round in the greater invasion. It ain't over ' til the Fat Boy sings.

    I couldn't agree more.

Israel gets less than 2% of all aid we give. Most of it has to be spent on U.S. military equipment so it's really just a kickback to U.S. industry. Israel develops more hi-tech military technology for us than Silicon Valley. Without Mossad we would be blind in the ME.

Israel has been fighting a proxy war on our behalf against Iran who consider us 'the great Satan' - their apocalyptic rhetorical and theology is aimed at the United States and West. Before modern Israel even existed al-Qaeda's mentors in Egypt were preaching the necessity of attacking and destroying the U.S.

You seem to be very gullible and very willing to throw Israel to the wolves - which is ironic as the truth is we need Israel more than they need us. Egypt gets more than Israel. Pakistan much more. If the significantly smaller amount of aid to our closest and most vital ally becomes a political issue it will be cut and that won't be a problem. The real question is why are people always on about Israeli aid and not aid to Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, "Palestine" and all the other people who want to eat our livers?

I want to cut all their aid but its only supporters of israel that (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)es. We do not need to give israel my tax dollars to trade technology.

If I was Iranian I would say worse about America considering what we have done to their. Country.

We sowed the seeds of their hatred by our own actions. That said the only way for iran to protect themselves is by nuclear weapons. Its too bad they have none and are a way off from obtaining one.

I know I can't convince you what we are doing in iran is wrong. I can only fight to protect America by supporting folks that put America first.

I just told you. Most goes to US industry and the rest helps contribute towards the proxy war they are waging partly on our behalf.

No that's 'revisionist history' - the Iranian revisionist school is built around a book called "All the Shah's Men" - it's utter lies.

Protect themselves? You trying to be funny?

Ron Paul puts America last. His whole foreign policy is based on a 'blame America first' version of revisionist history mixed with Soviet disinfo and lunatic conspiracy theories. I can only assume that's where you get your anti-American revisionism from.

Thanks for your response. As to your last two remarks I just flat out disagree. The book your mentioned I have never read and therefore am not influenced by any lies it may bear.

If we did not interfere in Iran in the past that is news to me. Please don't be to offended If iI don't accept your version of history. Whatever that is.

Excellent move. We need more politicians who dare to stand up and voice out what they think is wrong with US' failures in the international scene..

which is like saying, the US congress is spending money on a war machine, with american tax dollars for a profit to the US economy.

    aint that a conspiracy claim?

I would bet not one here has been reading that book, unless you are.

That crap you just wrote is another wingnut style circle jerk

To claim that by observing other points of view on history is a iranian conspiracy (again), then you are again reaching. Everything is a conspiracy to you, right?
how many iranian covert and/or unilateral imposition by war have iranians been in over the last 70yrs? How many has israel? How many times have iranians shot phosphorus weapons on civilians?

Whom do you trust? I dont trust the aggressors, first.

ie.......over a trillion on iraq and how many lives; based on israeli intelligence that saddam had wmd?

again................... who were the LIARS and of false witness to fact?

how is that? Israel aint first!
now you rant that ron is biased based on on soviet info on the US/Israel history?

Most LUNATICS keep pointing to conspiracy crap versus the underlying issue

A liar is about as un-american as a human being can get. Even john wayne faced truth for what it is, and if a man makes a mistake the tall one knew, when to face the cold hard facts.

What makes a man an honorable man, is when he can face what is real.

Evolve or be wiped off the map! No threat; FACT!

and since it is a religious state the forefathers put into print, no religious support

i have seen military expendetures, in writing, that were from the dept of defence for cancer research in tel aviv.

i have no problem with supporting good, but israel dont need any more weapons, it needs to back off jeruselem and the golan as it aint israel and give reparations to the widows and children left from the israeli land grab.

    blind?

    which WMD?

Which wars because of them faulty eyes?
because we allowed bigots to build a concentration camp (gaza) and let the ashkanazi's abuse humble people who have lived in palestine for hundreds and hundreds of years.

    apocalypse means 'unveiling'

Armegeddon is about 'tel megiddo' (the hill, the mount: dome of the rock)

The theological wingnuts are the idiots that believe jeruselem is theirs BY GOD!

Muslims are on the hill and the bigots want them off it.

Iranians are pissed at the US for allowing bigots to abuse people in palestine. Not to mention what the curly haired sob's have done to south africa for them mines
That's BS. That is such a line a crock. Zionist were blowing up british interests (king david hotel) and coined terrorist before muslims even thought of going against america.

    the bigots are the wolves

that has to rank as one of the most ignorant comments on the forum

and both hate the US because of its politics with allowing the bigots in israel oppress the peasants of palestine.

Pakis hate the US more and publically demonstrate it more than any single country that i know of.

    And they are nuclear armed!

If we didnt support bigots, then we would not be having a fraction of the other contributions being required to surpress the muslim populations.

Over the majority of the islam world, they hate israelis for what they are doing, not what they claim as a religious people.

it is the force, the oppression, the direct conflicts and land grabs

I know the bigots dont have a right to palestine simply because of ww2.

I could care less what their beliefs are (jew christian or muslim), if people are abusive to human beings, others will shut it down.

You are on the wrong side of the argument based on the irresponsibility of what 'we the people' have allowed and the lack of compassion for the lives of peasants.

I believe there is a lot of pent-up disgust with Israel. It just doesn't have an outlet - yet.

Somebody with Obama's political savvy but also with Paul's sentiments re: Israel would work for me.
