This is Sophie's Choice all over again, but I would have to go with Mitt over Newt. Newt is totally untrustworthy, and that's even compared to Mitt's flip floppery.

Newt is like the Republican Biden. Gaffe a minute.

I like Newt for the simple fact that I would love to see Owebama get the (*)(*)(*)(*) kicked out of him in a debate.

I doubt he could do worse than Owebama, hell the left over food in my fridge could do a better job than the Big Owe.

    Thank you Kramer. :)

One more question, what ethics accusations were those?

"The Ethics Committee's Special Counsel, James M. Cole, concluded that Gingrich had violated federal tax law and had lied to the ethics panel in an effort to force the committee to dismiss the complaint against him. Eighty-four ethics charges were filed against Gingrich during his term as speaker, all by Democrats. Eighty-three of the charges were later dropped. After extensive investigation and negotiation by the House Ethics Committee, Gingrich was reprimanded and penalized $300,000 by a 395–28 House vote. It was the first time in the history of the House that a speaker was disciplined for an ethics violation"

mmm,,,,You have a point about Romney,,,but as Anne Coulter has said...''“I would support Jeffrey Dahmer against Obama!”

I think they could both do the job personally.....Besides,,Mitt usually favors the polls, which are usually on the conservative side. If he wants re-election,,he'll stay conservative...
I do like Newt though, I agree....The man has done everything and going down as a Great President would be the perfect Legacy. I believe this would be important to him, what's left?
I believe this would be Newts perfect ending, to what some may say was a questionable career...His experience [unlike Obama] is unquestionable, and so are his smarts...

I would still like to see Obama's college records......

I wonder if Romney will also have problems if and when he finally reveals his taxes! We will see.

No one is perfect. So Newt has some baggage but it is known baggage. People can repent. I like him for calling the press out, it was time someone addressed their shoddy lopsided reporting.

I will not vote Romney. If it is Romney the GOP may lose conservatives. They did this with McCain and now the Washington Establishment GOP is once again trying to move the GOP left. Romney is more like Obama and not a conservative but another Massachusetts liberal that flip flops. Romney was against it before he was for it. He is another Kerry and more like a democrat than a GOP.

I have lost all respect for Ann she shows she is nothing more than a Washington establishment GOP supporter and she has spit in the face of conservatives. I guess she wants the party to move more left just like Rove does. Rove is no longer credible.

I've lost some respect for Michelle Malkin during this 'shaking out a candidate' period, as well. Guess it's too tempting to take cheap shots when that's how the other side makes their living.

I think Santorum is the closest thing to conservative but Newt is better than Romney. Problem is the media and The Washington establishment GOP want them to move left. If they do they lose the religious right and also will lose elections.

I refuse to vote for the lesser of 2 evils like I did for Bush in 2004

By the way I am not a GOP but I am a conservative independent

Romney was against it before he was for it just like Kerry. Romney is not a conservative. There is little difference between Romney and any Massachusetts Democrat. Romneycare proves that
