When given a choice on an equal playing field Fox News beats MSNBC because the American people are basically Conservative in nature and only ENTERTAIN the ideas of liberalism.

Fox News is fair and balanced and that is what Americans NEED to make decisions.

They are waking up to the fact that Obama and the Dems have intentionally lied and manipulated the American public and they have gotten help from a complicit media which is 180 degrees away from what journalism is supposed to be...objective and impartial.

If MSNBC sought to be real journalists and serve the truth rather than their leftist agenda they might very well pull the kind of numbers that Kelly has at Fox.

Oh, and MSNBC should get a handsome guy to replace the homely one on opposite Megyn Kelly in that time period.

You gotta admit, she's a looker!

    ;)

The President of msnbc actually questioned the ratings for Kelly? :roflol: This is what pure stupidity and ignorance does for people that work for and hang on everything msnbc stands for. He is actually not embarrassed to come out and publicly make a statement like that. Poor slime ball Griffin, maybe Rand Paul will win in 2016 and then his ratings will increase. The current president has killed their standing in the ratings.:alcoholic:

But, isn't it probably just similar ratings to the previous show in that time slot?

I mean, honestly, be it MSDNC, or Faux News, the folks that like those shows are only tuning to hear their own opinions repeated to themselves...

If I said, "I prefer my political commentary with fewer snarky propagandist liberals who probably get more nookie than I do."

Would you say I'm guilty of penis envy?

    OK, I'll give you this

this weekend, all eyes will be on the ACC

It will determine if Clemson is real or not.

If FSU wins, and they will pound the Gators when they meet, then I like FSU to go to the BCS championship

the issue would be does an undefeated Ohio State or Oregon with their cupcake schedules go in front of a 1 loss SEC team be it LSU or Bama?

Since Urban left FL, there has been a surge of Noles fans. You are even starting to see some players considering UCF over FL never mind FSU over FL. Muskrat really needs to go.

I'll take the 'suicide' blonde.....(dyed by her own hand) over the 'Pat' (SNL) look-alike.

Some may believe that watching the Kelly Files is because of a surge in Conservatism, but I will say that its more an addiction to gossip. Kelly is the most insincere gossip monger I can think of, next to Hannity..

No news network could afford to stay in business in this society if hard news was their only attraction.

Fox, with their beautiful anchors and reporters, their punditry (which may include gossip) AND their fair & balanced hard news, which MSNBC has completely abandoned, seems to have found the right business model.

Perhaps FNC is fair and balanced, but Kelly, as she seems to be the topic of this thread, is a gossip, imvho. She milks emotions, as do so many pundits and politicians. That may be nice and well for a while, but eventually we have look at facts to make informed decisions.
No one source has all the answers, and it is up to us to research..."trust but verify" is it? No one person has all the answers. Kelly is entitled to her opinion, as are we we all. It is our choice whether to listen to her or others.

CNN's Erin Burnett (Irish-American) is cuter in my opinion, but Megyn can hold her own. Megyn looks kind of plastic to me, although I'm sure it is not from plastic surgery, aside from orthodontics. Plus, she named her child "Thatcher."
C'mon...Thatcher? Like Margaret Thatcher... clearly the lace curtain, Brit loving type of Irish.

    Am sensing some cattiness on here;;

Attractive, pleasant personality even tho a 10-yr persecutory lawyer with bulldog questioning skills but yet doesnt come across as b*tchy, wife, mother of 3, lauded by all on FNC who know her, and called by crotchety old Don Imus a 'rock star' who won the gene pool lottery.....I'd live with those kudos.

I guess it's like eating a steady diet of McDonald's food. If all you eat are Big Macs and fries and a soda, you are gonna have problems. If you interperse a few salads and juices in between the happy meals you'll get better results from your food dollars.

Good thing McDonalds has a varied menu.

Not like the unhealthy menu they USED to have.

Oh, it was tasty alright. Delicious. It built their giant, worldwide, multi billion dollar monstrous restaurant conglomerate because people LOVED it!

But health advocates lobbied them to make their fare nutritious as well as delicious.

So, now, you could actually enjoy a very nicely balanced diet if you made the right "Mickey D" selections.

Same with Fox News. Sure, they have content that appeals to those who watch the network for entertainment. I guess I've either not watched Megyn Kelly's show enough or I was too dazzled by her appearance to notice what she was discussing. So I will have to defer to your observation of her gossip quotient.

However, I'm glad she is there for those who like her show.

I go more for Special Report with Brett Baier, The Five, Shep and OReilly. But ALL of them only occasionally. BTW, if Hannity was on earlier I'd watch him, too. He sometimes has Ann Coulter and Mark Levin as guests.

And that's the point. Fox News has a little something different to appeal to differing viewing tastes.

Just like McDonald's healthy menu today.

Now, if we wanted to find a network which best epitomized the unhealthy Golden Arches' offerings of yore, it would be MSNBC.

They have NO healthy menu items at all.

    It's ALL fluff.

    All opinion and heavily biased.

That's like a McDonald's milkshake which might be more sugary than the others in the market and fries which might've been deep fried in saturated fats and be heavily salted.

MSNBC has no hard news shows anymore. It's ALL opinion. And leftist opinion, at that. That helps explain why so many people here at PF, (and apparently across the country, too) are so allergic to mainstream American values. They gorge on a steady diet of addictive leftist poppycock.

So, I'd say anyone who watches nothing but a steady diet of MSNBC is likely to be a fathead.

That makes FNC a better choice for a fair and balanced diet of political content.

    And why is that important?

Because we make decisions about our nation's future based on the information we have and our points of view are significantly influenced by those who produce our mental intake.

And the leftist views are not what helped form this country, build this country, make it great in any way. And often those views are harmful and known to be harmful by those dispensing it. But, if they can benefit from it, personally, they will dispenbse it like the old unhealthy McDonald's menu items.

People like it and it makes us a ton of money. We can get rich so let's pile it on and send it out into America!
We can't be blamed for any damage it might do, so why not?

Well, leftist ideology is not what made this country great and anyone who subscribes to those views is on a dangerous road to being unAmerican.

    OK?

    That's all for now.
