I think their donation is an example of an essential business trying to avoid the overreach and abuse of power of the left. Its a catch 22. If they support Trump, they get boycotted or maybe get a brick through their window. If they don't, the other side is sure to impose more taxes and regulations that will make it difficult to stay in business.

 

I hope we are just playing one of your games I'd hate to think anyone would be this out of the current loop, but then again, these are extraordinary times we are experiencing today..

Shop where you want to, based on your criteria. If you have a hatred, by all means feed it, go out of your way to avoid anyone or any business that may have supported the supporters of the supporters of the supporters of thine enemy. Your hatred is eating you alive.

Every Grocery Chain and other businesses burned down and effected by the Liberal Riots in all these Democrat run Cities should Boycott and close up shop in every one of these **** holes and move. Wouldn't bother me a bit seeing all these Dummies that vote in these Liberal Numnucks have to travel 10 or 20 miles to buy a loaf of Bread. Any Business affliated with Black Lives Matter should be Boycotted by every registered Republican in the Country.

If the red areas weren’t so impoverished and reliant on blue taxes that would be a viable plan but businesses typically go where the money is.

Product boycotts almost always punish those who have jobs for the company much more than it does the people at the top who tend to make the decisions that inspire the boycotting.

In some cases I do think it's warranted, but in many it's just more internet kneejerkism and people wanting to feel relevant and a part of something. This effect occurs equally on both sides of the political aisle.

The impact is against both management and employee, if the boycott lasts long enough.

Bottom line is that if this store is the only game in town, a boycott is very difficult. If you have a Safeway, Harris Teeter, or some other option equally close, then a boycott of a grocery store is very easy, as are many of the products within....

I had a bigger problem with Home Depot last year when their founder made it clear he was donating to fascism, since that's a harder source to replace. However, the store came out and separated themselves from the founder, so I felt a little better about it, although we have 2 Lowes each about 2 miles further away (just in case).

Also, even the HD guy finally admitted his preferred candidate betrayed America.

Ya know what I wish like hell we had here in Colorado? H-E-B grocery stores! Most of our stores are either King Soopers or Safeway, and they're mostly OK, but H-E-B is magnificent! If H-E-B doesn't have what you want, you don't NEED it....

 

Even I know you recognize that not a single news cycle goes by without Trump being a main story and congress continued focus on Donald Trump!

I mean, it has been a month since Biden took office and he promised a stimulus immediately and has the votes to get it done. Why isn't it done? Because to congress, Donald Trump is more important than the American people. Same thing Nancy Pelosi did prior to the election. She could not let a stimulus pass because Trump would take credit for it. Hatred for one man by so many people that need therapy and he is still winning! It is sickening how stupid the elected Democrats really are!

 

Never heard of it.... In my area, the best all-purpose stores, coming down from the Northeast, are Wegmans.... Same deal.... Accordions to Zebras in there...

Pre-pandemic, they had the best hot food bars..... dang expensive (per lb), but quality food... Chinese, Mexican, Pizza, Hot meats and potatoes... something for everbody...

Pricey overall... we rarely hit ours for regular weekly shopping...

The stimulus package is forced to go through the reconciliation process, which is a time consuming process, because R's don't like America or Americans...

And Joe doesn't have the votes to get everything done... Surely you've heard about Manchin and Sinema causing him to do some surgery on his plan?

Boycotting decisions are personal ones. Information has now been put out into the universe and for those who are offended by the donation, they can shop elsewhere. This is nothing more than information sharing - the rest is up to the individual.
