There's nothing wrong with denouncing violence anywhere anytime, but the KKK and alt-rightists came to Charlottesville wearing helmets, body armor, carrying mace and many carrying guns. I don't have a problem with anyone having a peaceful march or demonstration, even those I totally disagree with. But the KKK, the alt-right and American NAZIS came prepared and determined to inflict violence on anyone disagreeing with them. One of them drove a car into the crowd voicing opposition and killed a 32-year old female and wounded 19 others--five seriously. Trump's statement made it sound like everyone there was equally guilty of promoting violence, but that's not true. But those that did promote violence--even commit murder--are Trump supporters who are part of his base. Trump doesn't care about the erosion of moral or ethical conduct within American society. Trump cares about promoting Trump, and won't dare oppose anyone willing to publicly support him, like the KKK, American NAZIS and the alt-right. I have a problem with Trump because of what he stands for and refuses to stand for as the President. I'm ever hopeful for impeachment. Trump needs to be fired.He's the most pathetic excuse for President to ever occupy the Oval Office.

Those who make up the MSM are people who care deeply about the country, its government and their special job of guaranteeing that government avoids illegal or compromising acts or corruption. Even the founding fathers, who didn't like being targets in the press themselves, recognized the special responsibility of that press to constantly seek to expose corruption within government, and acknowledged that in the Constitution. To openly accuse the MSM of malfeasance without specific evidence to back up the claim is to court the destruction of what some mighty fine leaders gave us between 1776 and 1788. Of course, the MSM is a human institution with the same propensity for error as any other human activity, but for the vast majority of MSM professionals, being open, honest and accurate in their reporting is a core value. I support the MSM professionals and am continually grateful for the job they do.

Throughout the last Presidential campaign Trump encouraged his supporters at countless rallies to be violent, even to the point of publicly offering to pay legal costs for those charged with assault. Yes, Trump contributed to what happened in Charlottesville.

 

Still nothing compared to what they used to be. At the moment BLM and Antifa are far more dangerous than the KKK is.

 

I don't disagree with you. Russia probably did attempt to change the election. Like China they hack us all the time. I honestly feel that they did not change a single vote. Trump was going to be president regardless of what Russia did. You can see Russia as the enemy just don't say they gave Trump the win when that did not happen.

You have to call white supremacy by its right name and let us make no mistake, these white supremacists are "legion."

This "rally," that should rightly be called a terrorist action, brought together white supremacists, Ku Klux Klan members, the so-called "alt-right," Nazis and assorted armed militia members. Their numbers are growing in strength and visibility as they are empowered by the racist, anti-immigrant, religiously bigoted and homophobic rhetoric coming from Donald Trump and his administration.

The time to acknowledge and confront the demonic forces of white supremacy is now.

Antifa is the reason for the violence at the rally. They incited violence at a peaceful rally and when the trouble started people died.
