…An eye-opening new documentary pulls back the curtain on that indoctrination of American school children that will unite Democrats and Republicans in the fight to win back the minds of their youth.

Released nationwide on March 14, “Whose Children Are They?” is critical of teacher’s unions, the sexualization of our youth, and the progressive left’s rhetoric infiltrating classrooms across the country.

Producer and cast member Deborah Flora said in an interview published on Newsbusters that the goal of the film is to help bring the parental uprising movement to “critical mass” in order to “achieve educational freedom and protect the innocence of all children.”

    (Video Credit: Fathom Events)

Flora also founded a non-profit parent rights advocacy group, Parents United America, and is running for Senate as a Republican, but she is confident that the film speaks to both sides of the political isle.

“What I have found as President of Parents United America is that it doesn’t matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican, you are a Mom and a Dad first. Having the right to know what your children are being taught is fundamental and non-partisan.”…

    T
he fight for control over who teaches what to our kids goes on. The parents bid to have a real say in our kids education is only just beginning. It is a right parents have, to know what their children are being taught and to opt out of things we object to.

Oh lookey here, another Repub running for congress has decided to tie her campaign with a "documentary".

Considering the subject matter, and more particularly the target audience, we'll soon see how well this strategy works for them.

I'm glad someone had the gumption to create a film about this rather than just watching mindless school board meetings of parents yelling incoherently for the cameras. Though based on the teaser, I already can tell this is heavily slanted. Can't wait till the reviews come in on this flick.

I've seen this movie before. Does anyone remember the Satanic Panic of the 80s?

Just keep demonizing teachers, and pretty soon there won't be anyone who wants the job. Period. And parents can either home school or
pay for private schools and live by the MANY rules that private schools are run by - and the high tuition.

    The Law of Unintended Consequences.

Parents have always had a say.
Parents can know what is being taught. School districts post curriculums, teachers have parent nights and are available for after school conferences
You have every right to have a say in what your kids are taught. You don't have control over what other peoples children are taught.
Most schools have policies that allow parents to "opt out" their child from reading a specific book or a specific lesson and do alternative assignments
Teachers unions have no say over what is taught. That is decided by school boards who are elected by parents and others in the community.
Have you ever noticed that some of the loudest voices about what should be taught or not taught are people who no longer have kids in school.
There is a fight for control in schools but the real fight is not about what your child is taught, it is about what every child is taught isn't it.

Why are American children so …………”delicate”

Australia has a FAR worse history in relation to people of colour

    White Australia Policy
Slavery - called “blackbirding” of Pacific Islanders

and last but by no means least

    Terra Nullius

    https://australianstogether.org.au/discover/australian-history/mabo-native-title/

This basically held that the First Nation people of Australia were “non human” and officially classified as fauna

We OWN that history and not only is it taught in schools but every meeting held in Australia has to start with an “welcome to country”
    upload_2022-3-22_1-27-26.jpeg

    So I ask

WHAT IS SO SCARY ABOUT “CRITICAL RACE THEORY”.?

Except that's not it, is it. It's not that they don't want brainwashing, it's that they don't want brainwashing they don't agree with. Many parents happily drag their kids to church, for example, and then complain about schools being "indoctrination centers".

No one is demonizing teachers. Rogue unions and school boards, you bet we call them out.
or taking control away from rogue school boards and secular progressive unions as we are starting to do.

Prior to 2022, school board meetings were mundane and generally boring. They posted said school board meetings on their website, email if you elected to receive, and social media apps. At best, you might get a dozen or so partents to attend. Thus, these same parents that are complaining now simply, for one reason or another, never attended a school board meeting in their life despite the fact the infor was out there. Therefore, how can you call it rogue when the same said parents who are upset now never showed up in the past?

Second, since Teacher Unions are made up of teachers, you are demonizing said teachers based on an agreed association.

I can tell you that, generally speaking, the teachers most active in union meetings and activities are the self-selected, most far left you'll find in a given district. Most teachers don't give a crap about union stuff and rarely attend meetings and such unless there is some problem.

I can tell you that depends on the state you live in. Some states are "closed states" which means if an occupation has a union or trade guild, you are required to pay such dues and join unlike at will states. In my experience, most teachers join teacher unions as a leverage against the state for benefits, pay, etc. even though said pay and benefits are passed by the state legislatures.

How do you define "actively involved in it." If you are sending monthly allotements to finance such unions, is that actively involved in the Union or not?

If you vote once a year for the Union officers, are you actively involved in the union?

Not sure if a partisan politician on a campaign trail can produce an unbiased documentary. Seems obvious her program is a campaign tool which promotes the new Republican platform: Woke culture wars.
