    what was the purpose for all that other non-relevant stuff

    the only issue is that the second was incorporated (and perhaps the shameful amount of time it took for that to happen)

    It is as much part of the constitution as any other ruling on the constitution by the USSC.

    depends-if someone has to wait 6 months-pay for an appointment and then is denied, that is probably worse.

    You cannot demonstrate that to be true. Places with the most strict gun laws have higher murder rates. These gun laws disproportionately affect the poor who live in neighborhoods where they are more likely to be a victim of violent crime. The taxes and DROS fees make safety very expensive. In these cities, those that don't own a car have no legal way of transporting their firearm to the range and back.

    Gun laws have no effect on rich people, politicians, or criminals.
