So, we broke all records yesterday... And just had some 70 million people close to each other waiting to vote (not to forget millions more in crowded early voting sites), and election officials confined all day long in indoor spaces, then counting votes in indoor offices for days. All masked, but we know that most masks are susceptible to allow aerosol-borne virus to still come in.

So, we're all talking about the election...

And I'm expecting in 2 weeks after November 3rd to have an even bigger spike in number of cases, followed some 2-3 weeks after that, by more deaths.

And we are in the fall... and to remember Game of Thrones, the winter is coming...

It's not excluded that by high winter we'll be having above 2,000 daily deaths again.

    interesting

you cite the reason as people in line to vote who were masked up and spaced apart. I thought that masks were the end all and be all and add 6-foot spacing, and you're good as gold?? Or, might it be that the virus is going to continue to infect folks until such time as we build herd immunity.
