You want me to comment on this astounding video....ok, seeing a stadium full of Jewish ppl against the political entity (Zionism) that is current day Israel makes me have hope but is this protest enough, it appears not given the slaughter that was happening at the same time in palestine.

My question is why does the west ignore what the religious Jewish community have to say, given that the only REAL Jewish ppl are the Torah observant (as the host of the vid states)?

I think the most simple answer is because statism. Objectively, arming Jewish immigrants to Israel so they could militarily dominate the native peoples that had been there for generations was an exercise in deliberate destabilization that we did in the late 1940s. Most people are aware this sort of practice is frequent in international relations. But usually 'the west' is opposed to that sort of thing ...except for when western governments engage in it. Then apparently its OK, as if many people are ultimately fine with accepting the govt as the defining source of morals and ethics.

That and a lot of people equate the state of Israel with the Biblical nation of Israel, which is ridiculous, but nonetheless tied a large chunk of western Christianity into feeling some sort of religious solidarity with the Israeli state ...despite the Israeli state being none too fond of Christianity.

It's also worth noting that until very recently, discussing 'Zionism' was politically incorrect, it was virtually impossible to even mention it without being accused of 'antisemitism'. I would put a lot of the responsibility for this onto organizations like the ADL and the SPLC, but to be fair, they should never have been allowed the sort of influence they have within our political structure. That seems to be headed for a change now, thank God.
