2 Proud Boys Sentenced To 4 Years In Prison Over Gang Assault In New York

Two members of the extremist street gang known as the Proud Boys were sentenced Tuesday to four years in a New York prison after attacking protesters outside a GOP event in Manhattan last year.

Maxwell Hare, 27, and John Kinsman, 32, were two of 10 Proud Boys arrested in the assault caught on camera in October 2018. Prosecutors slapped them with charges of attempted gang assault, attempted assault and rioting, declaring them the most vicious assailants that night. Their four-year sentence will include another five years of supervised release, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office confirmed to HuffPost.

99% of that totally impartial — list is words only (yelling, non actionable threats, obscenities). Not that it’s being condoned but what does this have to do with the OP and you understand the difference between and argument and an assault? Yes?

Also strange that your totally impartial list is missing the numerous times trump has threatened someone or advocated his supporters harm someone, Republican senators calls for a holy war, calls to murder gay people in the street by a Republican LEO/detective, numerous attacks at planned pregnancy facilities... why is that?

 

99%? I hardly think so. No matter, it's not as if we're discussing someone saying "Trump supporters are morons", we're talking about direct threats of violence, incitement, and actual assault. We don't take these things lightly nowadays, as violence is actually manifesting itself.

This list is a catalogue of incidents specifically aimed in one direction, compiled by a conservative source, it's not a compilation of general political madness. Don't deflect by acting surprised by the fact that the list isn't all encompassing.

The reason I post this link so often (reminder-which hasn't been updated in a year) is to remind progressives that whatever incident they're complaining about can be matched many times over, with the perpetrators being aligned with them.

 

How many threats of violence do you think equals one actual instance of violence? Or murder?

 

Too bad they didn't do that in Minneapolis where the mayor ordered the police to stand down when anti-fa protestors threw rocks and bottles at them and their horses.

 

In this specific case there is a warrant out for the arrest of several ANTIFA thugs who were involved in that fight. They are just as violent and as guilty as those convicted, but the police have failed to identify and thus prosecute these ANTIFA thugs who in fact instigated the fight.

But the libs have of course forgotten to mention this, haven't they?

 

And yet, almost every act of terrorism in America since 9/11 has been the act of far right wing thugs. How do you explain that?

 

Especially if you include radical Islamist extremists - and they should be included - in the definition of "far right wing".

This news is a good face slapping for conservatives. They have been pretending that it is the anti fascists who have been causing trouble and not the fascists.

Same thing has been happening on the West Coast. Members of violent right wing gangs have been being arrested and charged with felonies. This has had the effect of greatly reducing incidents of violence.

Many of these right wing gang members have been to prison. In fact many are little more than prison gangs on the outside. In prison they fight against Blacks and Hispanics. There are no liberals in prison, so they have to fight them on the outside.

But ANTIFA thugs did attack them and there really is an outstanding criminal warrant on several of those violent ANTIFA thugs whom the police failed to identify.
