President Obama stated in 2009, “I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism."

President Obama stated this April, "My Entire career is a testimony to American Exceptionalism."

President Obama does not fully believe in American Exceptionalism, rather he believes the History of America is rooted in historical injustices from Slavery, Colonialism, and into the Neoliberal era. When he reinterprets this notion this year, he ties the entire concept to his individual career.

The fundamental concept of American Exceptonalism is that it is far greater than any individual. It is about what We are as a Nation. It's about Pride, Values, and a common belief that we live in the best country in the World. Immigrants have flocked to this land for Centuries to basque in the freedom we hold so dear.

The Republican Party has the major benefit of Believing in the future of America. It's this idea that is President Obama's greatest weakness, and will be exploited leading up to November.
