    The difference? The Dominican Republic uses fossil fuels and subsidizes the use of LPN gas for cooking. Haiti is an environmentalists dream. No use of fossil fuels.

    Trees are not fossil fuels. Using fossil fuels saves the trees. Common sense 101.
