The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun ... GOD BLESS AMERICA. Enjoy your retirement Barack Hussain Obama. I won't miss you!

Even those who are innocent of any wrongdoing do not have a legal right to resist police actions, even if said actions are completely unjustified.

The British have little to do with an individual with a gun trying to protect themselves against a swat team.

You missed the point of my post methinks. Armed insurgency against the state is a different kettle of fish.

The jury in the Larry Davis case in NYC held differently. He was charged with shooting at police but the jury held he was justified in doing so because they were corrupt and their actions were criminal. He was found guilty only of weapons possession in that case. Of course, he was charged and convicted in another matter.

One juror said later that the jury believed Mr. Davis's assertion that he had fired in self-defense after he was shot at.

You realize that the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with self-defense, right?

Which does nothing to change the fact that the supreme court has ruled that there is no right of the people to resist police officers, even if the actions of the police officers are unjustified and illegal.
