I totally agree if you are referring to the Television Preachers
that hawk their false spiritual wares to the unwise in our midst
that will send them money in hopes they will become rich
so they can "jump up and down" like those lottery winners
you see on Television when the guy knocks on their door
and shows them the million dollar check.

There are some that desire a lot of money for wrong motives
    and wrong purposes,

However there are many that desire to have a lot of money
for good motives and good purposes , , ,

    My view is that , , ,

God Desires For Us To Have a Lot Of Stuff , , ,

"Give and you will get" is a clear Biblical principle that we all
ought to daily practice. My view is that God desires to bless
His people with material wealth. The Universe is packed with
"stuff" -- it is everywhere. There is no shortages. When was
the last time you wanted some product that was not available
to you anywhere? God created "stuff" for us to use to help
others. You can NEVER have to much stuff. When your
garage gets full -- you then either have a Yard Sale which
helps poor people or you call the Salvation Army which will
help poor people -- this is "win-win." You can NEVER have
to much stuff. Use stuff to help others. Pile those shopping
carts high so that some of that stuff falls out on the way to
the check-out counter. Somebody will eventually be helped
by what you put in your shopping cart. Be generous. You
    can NEVER out give God.

Consider 2 clear Bible verses on $ Money, Wealth, and Stuff , , ,

    {1}
Give And You Will Get , , ,

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down,
shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use, it will be measured to."
___The Lord Jesus in Luke 6:38

    {2}
If God Gave Us His Most Precious Gift, Then He
Will Certainly Give Us His Lessor Gifts., , ,

"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all-how
will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"
    Romans 8:32

What do you mean when you say that?
    Man CAN walk with God.
    Job did.
    The Apostle Paul did.
    Millions have walked with God.
Of course I do not know what you mean when you
imply a man cannot "walk with God."
To me "walking with God" is to do the following , , ,

    1st to accept the Lord Jesus as our Savior {John 3:16}

2nd to learn to LOVE the Lord our God with all our
    heart, mind, and soul

3rd to learn to LOVE our neighbor as we LOVE ourselves

4th we learn to submit our Intellects to the revealed Truth
that God has given us in His Holy Bible

5th we learn to rest in the truth found in Deuteronomy 29:29
which says "the secret things belong to God." This principle
is vital to our long term spiritual well being. Why? Because
of that "Intellect thingy" again -- the Sin Principle combined
with the Fallen Human Intellect combined with Fallen Human
    Nature apart from 1st, 2nd, 3rd,4th and 5th up there is a
"soul destroyer" and will wreck the Human Person.

Don't forget that Fallen Human Nature desires to BE God.
And THAT is THE , , BIG , , problem.

And to use 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th up there to put a STOP
to man wanting to BE God is the long term solution to human
    problems.

    Incorrect as it stands.
Of course there is no point in arguing with what you said unless I
know clearly what you mean by "Man cannot walk alongside God."
Please write me a post and explain that in detail.
    Is your key word "alongside"?
    Is there a difference in , , ,
    ~ walking with God
    and in
    ~ walking alongside God

These men walked with God , , ,
    Genesis 6:8-9 8
"But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord . This is the account of
Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among
the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God."

    Genesis 5:24 24
"Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God
    took him away."

    Genesis 5:22 22
"Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters."

    Disagree.
If you seek material rewards to be used for good motives and good
purposes then that is a very good seeking.

Bibles cost money $$$$ The Gideon's have a million dollar budget.

Samaritan's Purse has a several $ million dollar annual budget.

Samaritan's Purse has a motto : "Helping In Jesus' Name" and they
have helped many tens of thousands.

Doing good and helping others cost $$ money

God wants us to have and use $ money. See bolded red {1} and {2} below , , ,

Incorrect. Just the opposite is true.

    {1}
Give And You Will Get , , ,

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down,
shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use, it will be measured to."
___The Lord Jesus in Luke 6:38

    {2}
If God Gave Us His Most Precious Gift, Then He
Will Certainly Give Us His Lessor Gifts., , ,

"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all-how
will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"
    Romans 8:32

Plus many more clear Bible verses that say Faith will be rewarded
    here on this Earth.

By the way, YBIG, if you would like to have MORE money than
you now have, then start giving away about 15% of your monthly
income to help others and do it consistently and you will find out
that "Give and you will get" is the truth. The Biblical principle of
giving calls for at least 10% and then the Bible mentions the
principle of additional "offerings" which is beyond the minimum
of 10%, so this is how I arrive at about 15%.

    That borders on poetry.
    What does it mean?

    Agreed.
    Preach it.
Say No to this > > Use people and love money
Say Yes to this > > Love people and use money

That is worth enlarging with some color , ,

Say No to this > > Use people and love money
Say Yes to this > > Love people and use money

    Sounds good to me.

    Ahh, that's quite beautiful.
    That borders on poetry too.
    I like that.

You wrote some very interesting comments up there. Much
    appreciated in certain spots.

    I have something for you.

    Mat the Lord Bless you.
May the Lord Bless and Keep you.
May the Lord make His face shine upon you.
May the Lord be gracious unto you.
May the Lord turn His face toward you.
May the Lord always give you His peace.
May the Lord always protect you.
May the Lord always protect all those you love.
    {Based on Numbers 6:24-27}

    Best.

    JAG

    PS
That's about all I have to say at this point.
If you have any other thoughts, clarifications, points, or
comments on anything whatsoever, I look forward to reading
    anything you have to say.

And thank you again for your very interesting perspectives.
