I'm sorry, you seem to have mistaken me for someone who values your opinion.

And you seem to be someone who thinks that their opinion has value.

You are just one who cannot conceive that others do not care what you think and do their own thinking. Both are incomprehensible to a close minded dolt like you.

    And yes, you are sorry.

▶ According to a January analysis by Gallup, 51 percent of health care workers and first responders polled in December were unconvinced of the merits of getting vaccinated, even if the vaccine “was free, available, FDA approved and 90% effective.”

▶ In Texas, the Texas Tribune reported in February that home-health and assisted-living agencies may not be able to service their clients because so many caregivers are refusing to be vaccinated. A CDC survey of skilled-nursing facilities published in early February found that fewer than 40 percent of staff took at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Outside the United States, frontline workers are likewise skeptical. On March 2, Reuters reported that at most half of the nursing staff in Switzerland’s medical sector, only 30 percent of the staff at Germany’s BeneVit Group care-home operator, and about half of the health workers in French care homes were willing to be vaccinated.

Ahh yes, we had this in the UK. Care givers are not health care workers or first responders. These are unskilled care home staff low paid and many are from ethnic minorities who seem to be very backward when it comes to understanding the vaccine. We managed to get the acceptance level up to 90% in the UK by talking to them through their religious leaders.

There is another issue as well. Many of these staff are young and don't see the virus as dangerous to themselves, and don't seem to care about the elderly they are there to look after.

It appears that one vaccine in particular, the "AstraZeneca" vaccine is associated with the appearance of an alarming number of blood-clots, and a growing number of countries have now banned its use (at least temporarily). Fortunately, this is not one of the vaccines in use in the United States....

Me? I'm still waiting, and waiting, and waiting, for the government (including the State of Colorado) to get itself organized and capable of administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The little rollout we had here in Colorado last weekend was, to put it mildly, a totally fugged-up, uncoordinated, misinformed, botched-up, half-assed MESS. Everything, from the website signup procedure to the website map showing where the vaccine would be given was TOTALLY WRONG!

And now? Nobody here in Colorado has any idea at all when we're EVER going to be able to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine again. So, it's more self-imposed 'quarantine' for us in my household, until the damned government gets its sh!t together! :psychoitc:.:cynic:

    .

    Here is reason 32:

The other day a talking head on TV news said the covid vaccine is as safe as the smallpox vaccine.

I had a bad reaction to the smallpox vaccine that literally scarred me for life [a constant reminder never to take another vaccine!]

Well we've had 22 million vaccinated in the UK with no alarming blood clots.
My view for what its worth is that this latest claim is yet another EU attempt to hide the fact they have failed to secure enough vaccine. So better to tell people they cannot have it for safety reasons than tell them cannot have it because you forgot to order it in time.

You'd think things like this could have been organised months before the vaccine became available.

    ▶ BY THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
    March 14, 2021 Updated: March 14, 2021

LONDON — Irish health officials on Sunday recommended the temporary suspension of the AstraZeneca vaccine after reports of serious blood clotting after inoculations in Norway.
Dr. Ronan Glynn, Ireland’s deputy chief medical officer, said the recommendation was made after Norway’s medicines agency reported four cases of blood clotting in adults after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.
He said that while there was no conclusive link between the vaccine and the cases, Irish health officials are recommending the suspension of the vaccine’s rollout as a precaution.
Danish, Norwegian and Icelandic authorities have taken similar precautionary steps. The World Health Organization and the European Union’s medicines regulator said earlier in the week that there was no link between the jab and an increased risk of developing a clot.
The U.K.’s medicines regulator, the MHRA, said Thursday that “Reports of blood clots received so far are not greater than the number that would have occurred naturally in the vaccinated population. Available evidence does not confirm that the vaccine is the cause.”
It said people should still go and get their COVID-19 vaccine when asked to do so.

Typical of the views ow the elite rulers. Try to change the meanings of words or descriptions of work done in favor of meanings that would benefit yourself.

Getting very of and predictable from your cult.

Health care workers and first responders are not the same thing as bed makers and tea bringers in care homes. No matter what you falsely accuse me of. Doctors and nurses have not on the whole refused the vaccine, care staff in nursing homes have.
Is this because of the lower educational level required to change a bed, almost certainly. Is there evidence to support this view, yes in the fact that when religious leaders spoke to these people and educated them they agreed to receive the vaccine in very many cases.

BTW, being woke is not about denying reality and defending every failing.

Entering a bit in the matter ...

    Point 1 ...

Nope. It's a vaccine [they are vaccines]. These vaccines do provide immunity to a disease [in this case Covid-19].
I doesn't "merely reduces the chance of getting a severe case of a virus if one catches it" [the author doesn't know what he's talking about].

So, since the initial premise is wrong all the rest is funny rubbish.

Anyway the point 4 is quite right.
It's correct I get a lot of vitamins [D, C, B12] as well. But just to make my immune system able to react quicker, to allow me [in case I get Covid-19] to arrive to the hospital not in a desperate condition: vitamins are not going to cure you.

    Point 7 ...

So what? In EU we are very happy that in UK they have started to vaccinate without all the approvals of our authorities: the British citizens have been the guinea pigs for EU citizens ...

    And so on ...

"On the whole" would indicate that some, perhaps many, have not taken the vaccine. Kind of invalidates what ever point you were attempting and failing to make.

BTW, being "woke" is all about denying reality and defending your failures. Also self assumed social and moral superiority which is never displayed or proven by the "woke".

On the whole means most everyone, but clearly cannot mean everyone as you will always find A nurse who didn't.
Why is it so many people think playing stupid word games is a replacement for addressing the argument.
    No it isn't.
Nor is my argument here based moral superiority. That is just an insult you throw out in order to silence opposition and to prove your wokeness.
I stated what happened, that some uneducated care staff who do not understand the vaccine were refusing to take it because they were scared, and that having been told it was safe by people they trust have changed their minds. How you interpret that as moral superiority is beyond me.
Or are you yet another idiot who thinks that insults equal argument.

Further by defending their right to refuse the vaccine and put others at risk for no reason at all beyond ignorance that can be solved by simple education, you show yourself to be morally repugnant.
(See I can do insults to)

If you truly feel this way, why do you continually do so?

If you were truly moral and educated, you would laud others for their differing opinions and not try to insult the, force them to accept your views or decide what they truly think without asking. You just decide hat is true or not as a further display of you being 'woke' and morally superior (in your own mind only) and leave others to their own thoughts and decisions. You are the definition of a woke bully and just to afraid to admit it.

BTW, it is not an insult to call you out when you are wrong, it is a moral imperative.

Because they are not my VIEWS, they are the accepted view of science and the vast majority. And they are not harmless views which one might indulge, they are dangerous and harmful to others. You are dangerous and harmful to others, spreading as you do your lies and fantasies about the vaccine.

Your claptrap about woke I have addressed and will now ignore.
