54.24% in public K-12 schools are Hispanic or Latino, according to the latest released 2016-2017 reports. That basically coincides with Hispanics now comprising a majority of the younger generation in the state. With a population approaching 40 million, California now surpasses the entire country of Canada. Or viewed another way, California has slightly more people than all the other states in the Western half of the United States combined (that's 12 of them). So this has big demographic implications for the country as a whole.

I'm guessing by means of the same sort of oppression and manipulation that enabled them to claim a slave master level of ownership over colored people in the first place. At least for the time being. But without a doubt we are headed towards conversion from a united nation of states to more of a multi-ethnic empire of loosely affiliated mono-racial entities. And as history has shown, there has not been one single multi-ethnic empire that has endured ...ever. North America will fracture into White, Black, and Brown territories and war will visit them all. Uncontrollable breeding is a common trait in the 3rd world peoples. Always has been. We need to scrap the border wall idea and begin construction on a canal to take its place because here's whats going to happen. California will collapse due to this breeding problem and, of course, because its a Democrat state. With so many hundreds of millions of people basically becoming overnight federal welfare cases California will need a major barraging chip in order to force that much money from the union. And the only chip they can leverage is their coastal location and the ports that service incoming goods for that side of the country. They will hold imports hostage driving the cost of foreign goods through the roof. If we start building a canal today, in a decade or so we will rob California of their control over us.

America is a multi cultural nation which adds to our strengths. The Obamas has shown that thru holding high values, hard work and education non whites can prosper. President Obama commands 6 figure speaking engagements showing that education is worth it. If whites want to keep up they need to hold high values, hard work and education important in their life as Asians and successful non whites do.

You know, as long as these Hispanics assimilate, there is no problem at all, IMO. And as long as we stop illegal immigration, and allow the needed time for the legal immigrants to assimilate, who cares if there are more hispanics in america than white people? But many people fear that hispanic culture will replace the traditional american culture, and we will lose the traditional american identity and culture, which was once seen as a good thing and superior to the cultures south of our border, given what american culture yielded and what hispanic culture had yield, if for nothing more than social stability. But also other areas. For instance, I had a Prof in college who taught Mesoamerican archeology, and he had spent a good deal of time in south america, on digs, and of course they had to hire the local hispanics for labor. Well, these laborers were told to be at work at say, 7 am, and yet it might be almost noon before they would show up. Of course this got the class to laughing, and he had to explain that this was the difference between our culture and their culture. Being to work on time, was not their forte. A few years ago, this hatmaker from salt lake city, was looking to find some felt hat bodies, from south america, and traveled down there to set up a deal to buy their bodies, have them shipped here, and then he would then be a supplier to american hat makers, those who made cowboy hats, custom hats. So, he got orders from several custom hat makers, and placed an order with this company in south america. And he waited, and waited, and waited. Finally he flew south to find out what was going on with his order, which was terribly late, and was making these custom hat makers rather mad, for they were depending upon these hat bodies to meet orders. Well, when he got there, to the felt factory, he found his order of several thousands bodies, sitting on the shipping room floor, and they had been there for months! He told me that it seems the culture down there never got into any hurry, and that this was what he would have to put up with, if he wanted to use them. lol So, he only used them once, although their felt was high quality, and cheaper than american made felt. So, we sure as hell do not need to replace our culture with hispanic culture.

Agreed that diversity is an American strength, but disagreed on the racist attitude of dividing Americans by "race" since modern genetics has proved the traditional "race" groups isn't accurate. Yes, I know it's difficult to characterize certain problems without using terms like "white", "black", etc, but saying things like "If whites want to keep up they need to...." is clearly racist. FWIW, "Hispanic" isn't a race, it's a culture which would make them perfect Republicans: Family-oriented, traditional, religious and conservative.

A multicultural nation never adds strength, unless they assimilate into our culture. But then if they assimilate, they are not multicultural. This is a delusion of the unicorn and rainbow thinkers, which are non thinkers. Multiculturalism creates division, which inevitably will create conflict within society yielding disorder, coming from no social lube, which is the effect of multiculturalism. And this is a known fact, evidenced by human history. Why? Human nature. Tribalism. So, it is intelligence to reject multiculturalism, and strive to have one tribe, the american tribe, instead of a black tribe, a hispanic tribe, an oriential tribe, a muslim tribe and a white tribe. You are just begging for problems with multiculturalism. But to the left, it just looks so pretty, these different tribes! But it is also, intentionally creating division, conflict, social disorder and the expensive problems such a thing creates. To intentionally create division, with multiculturalism may look pretty to the eyes on the left, but it is a high cost to pay, and is therefore utter idiocy, which you generally see from rainbows and unicorn idealism. We demanded assimilation in the past, as all nations did, not out of some form of racism but out of nothing more than intelligence, and lessons learned from human history itself.
