Please do stop the faux outrage. This is comedy. This was not done at a intellectual debate or on some serious show. It was a night of comedy and they attacked all around. The jokes were pretty tame also. This was not some horrible personal attack on sarah. most of the comments were not even about her. This was a sort of roast type thing which does have some insults in there, but it is not bullying nor was it even very mean. These are public people who are open to far more harsh criticism than this every day, and if you do not like that you probably should avoid dealing with the public as much as you can because that was really not terribly offensive. It was generic political humor that was mostly old.

Toughen up if this hurt your feelings because the world is not made for such delicate snowflakes,.

The left always claims that degenerate behavior is nothing but comedy. It’s justified by the party of goodness to attack the evil that is anyone who disagrees with them. Defending behavior like that is shameful.

 

Not really, but if you want to make a problem you can think that. I have actually heard the so called offending routine. She went around roasting the right and the left and was even self depreciating. That means she made jokes about herself. Hardly degenerate behavior at all. It was also really weak sauce compared to someone like Stephen Colbert who was still in the range of comedy. I am sorry if the use of our first amendment triggers you, but you really are being overly critical of a comedy event. If it was a dignified serious night you would be right, but this was not meant to be that. It really does seem petty to make such a gripe over such a thing.

You know, you're right about Wolf not mentioning soccer moms. I think she did an impression of Sanders dividing people up into softball teams. I associated that with the Sanders seems like a soccer mom comment that I've seen in the media. I will look at the performance again when I get a chance later today to verify/clarify.
