.) Alternative sources of power (wind, solar, alternative fuels)

.) The corrupt agencies like Autism Speaks who have goals of "curing autism and down syndrome" rather than accepting and helping individuals progress as is

.) Scientific / Technological advances. Cures for diseases like AIDS, Cancer, etc. Future space missions to Mars / terraforming Mars.

.) Disaster support. FEMA. Better preparations for snowstorms, hurricanes, etc. Better handling of future storms that have the damage Sandy and Katrina had.

.) Out of control organizations like the MPAA and RIAA as well as other monopolies abusing the legal system by acting lawsuit happy.

.) Raising the minimum wage in many states.

.) No more ridiculous bills like SOPA, PIPA, CISPA, etc. / being able to deal with congress when they come up with stupid stuff like this

.) Life Imprisonment vs the Death Penalty

Yeah you're right it was touched upon but not discussed enough. Same goes for Forth Amendment Rights, all we really heard was Chris Christie and Rand Paul argue a little about it but that's about it.
