It's not easy to be thankful for what you have, but it is satisfying.

And the bottom 99% provide 99% of the labor ... and comprise 99% of the military. Just say'n.

I'm fine with that. I'm not rich, and I don't envy anybody.

Not for the size of their boat or the number of cars they have ... the problem comes when it's food on the table or medical service. The wealthy already have a 10 year longer life expectancy - history shows there is always a breaking point.

I have comfortable life and am looking forward to a decent final 20 years or so ... I don't want to get caught up in some type of physical class warfare because the divide gets too great.

If its not easy, then its hard to be thankful. Its an emotional state of mind after all. Seems forgetting dreams and ambitions is perfectly acceptable solution to the have nots.

Precisely the attitude that has heralded great falls.

perhaps they never had them in the first place. Which I find to be a rather grim suggestion.

even if they had dreams they always look to what they don't have. It's an attitude thing. Can't be taught.

So how about we raise all those labourer's and soldiers taxes to meet their fair share of the costs they incur?
Or how about we lower government spending until 99% of the country can afford to pay for it?

Why does the solution have to be "steal from people" just say'n.

Or how about we tax the rich, and give it to the poor so we can then take equal taxes from the poor?

Or how about we just take from the rich because it's the easiest thing to do.
Unlike working extra hours or a taking second job just to pay the government some more money.

We have a long history of subsidizing the aristocracy to the detriment of society as a whole, and many who believe in that. We of course need "the people" to believe something else about america.

I would not put much faith in the american public, we are an utterly subjugated people take as a whole.

Haven't met too many humans that dont have dreams and desire. Ambition? that's another story. Of course those that are satisfied with their lot don't need it, do they?

I agree its fundamental human nature, but it can be both taught and exploited. I believe The BIG HISOWNSELF issued a EO, I mean commandment to specifically and explicitly ban the practice.

That simply isn't true. Monopolies in the US existed because of government interference.

    So, the rich create jobs.

He doesn't have the guts to answer the question. The reality is simply that the Poor™ don't know how to create Wealth, and don't know how to maintain Wealth over the long-term.

No, it isn't. It's an undisputed fact that the average CEO in the US earns $194,350 annually, which is not even close to the 300 to 500 times you claim.

And labor creates wealth ... they don't live in separate worlds. The idea is to create a balance.

No monopolies were broken up by government interference. a bit bass ackward analysis.

The rich do create jobs, but no where near in proportion to their wealth.

The main mechanism for orderly wealth transfer from the rich to the poor is thru increasing bracket taxation. Lower taxes higher concentration or didn't you notice?

Yours is a completely disputable fact because its factually wrong. Oopsy.

you are using an electronic device coupled to the internet. Some people view you as extremely rich. When will you be donating your wealth so you will be equal with those people?

My idea is to create a mutual gain.
Everyone in the process gains enough to want to do it.

I don't suppose I imagine there's a point where your ambition is satisfied.

I'm sorry I am unfamiliar with those terms.

Pff... they do it in such a way that they out compete the little man who tries it on their own, and only to make it better for themselves. There is nothing noble about it.

Why would I have to create jobs in proportion to my wealth?
If someone gives me the opportunity to earn more money, why do I need to take all their money? Or a percentage of their money?
Exactly how poor do you feel people are that they have to rip other people off?

Do poor people sell their homes and hand it out to their co-workers?
What is it about rich people that means they have to behave like Jesus and give all their money away?
No one else is going to. And no one should ask anyone too.

It's not your money. How it's spent is none of your business.

You can be a CEO of a company with 1 employer or have 10.000's of people employed.

And which of those two is a criminal offence worth penalising a man for?
