What's to investigate? Gov's to patriotic to get involved. Fair enough, some gov officials aren't the smartest jaboneys on the pitch, besides ignorant towards warnings and indications, but not evil to conspire to bring down the twins. No, there are axis of evil, all those facist allies and the Network of terrorism, put together by rich Saudis. And this might have been the mistake. The cooperation between Bush Senior and the mujahideen to drive the sovjets out of unwished territories. Muslim fundamentalists always had in mind to fight the values of free western society. So it's not al about the foreign policy, but the understanding of clerics to win the wars of doctrine. Before the downfall of the Iron Curtain in GER, it was the communist on the attempt to achieve full legitimate superiority. Now the focus has shifted to the Gulf states. But the Obsession with fully democratic, productive and free societies was a unbearable thought in both eyes, because those societies grow and develop peacefully and do not rely on islamic or communist notion of the only enemy living at the other side of the world. Western societies abandonned those approaches. So the USA should focus more on the questions to solve financial crisis and lift the burden of future generations by labor market reforms and income policies.
