If there is a song that epitomizes the 90s, it would have to be this one. Grunge took the music scene by storm and totally dominated.

When I was younger (in the 90s), only the 12-year-old girls listened to Hanson. :D

12 year old girls are a massive marketing must-have demographic. (not kidding)

Creepy? At least it's not sexual.
    Remember this?

I think it could be construed as sexual. Or maybe it's just me. I don't know. Lol.

I don't remember that song. It's not really my type of music though. :)

I assure you it was not, for good or bad.

    How about this?

Or may be you like that kind of music?

Shock G's "Humpty Hump" character was hilarious.

Okay, I actually like that song and that artist, but...
    That's not Alanis Morissette...
    This, is Alanis Morisette...

    and that was Meredith Brooks

(Meredith Rocks). o_O (I like both those songs though), but...

I guess the Ironic thing here is that Alanis Morissette is the Bitch for trying to take credit for a Meredeth Brooks song.
    - I kid, I doubt Alanis Morissette is really to blame, but, Internet, wow - You should know better @ The Internet.
Still, just goes to show, one way or another, if it wasn't for me/ people like me, we'd all doomed.

Since I was just barely a sperm in the 90's, the most decade-defining song for me would have to be this one (and all of the other ones from that same film):

But, obviously this vetsion of it:

My favorite kind of music in the 90s was grunge, but I also like heavy metal, hip hop and some other genres too.

Christina is a VERY talented vocalist. That is definitely not one that highlights her vocal talents though. That one is more "Britney Spears-ish". She kind of overdoes it a bit though. :D

I agree. She can sing and my comment was more meant to be "jokingly sexist". :p

    Beautiful is a 00's song though. ;)

Lul. Perhaps there is some similarity there. I'd say 3rd cousins at most.

There was this girl I fell for once upon a time, I had a nickname for her though but she was crazy.
My nickname for her was Gangster B' / Gangster Bitch - because... and... Even though we went our separate ways, it is she who/this girl I knew, who crept into my dreams on occasion, and would often play the role of wife/soul mate in one crazy dream that ended trying to enter Heaven.

But East Coast 90s rap reminds me of.

which in turn reminds me of that girl; Gangster B'.
God bless Croydon, God bless South London...

    Earth song.png
So.. I just saw this after I went down uplift memory lane, and remember last week I fell in love with the idea of learning Earth Song when I heard it again after so long when I posted http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?posts/1067932174/ ..
    prompted me to give playing this song a go..;

I guess I'm showing my age in my choice of songs here - IDK, maybe some things are just timeless?
