    Lucky her, going to Africa. I want to go! And it IS amazing she went by herself. She looks gorgeous as usual, no matter what, but the haters will never mention that. I know the babies and children enjoyed her visit. Thank you SMW, since the msm would barely mention her African trip, it is great to see these pictures. She looks great in the hat too.

    It's about protocol and who has precedence. Melania is only a wife of a political leader, therefore the African leader doesn't have to stand up for her.

    It wasn't necessarily because Melania is only a wife of a leader. Where I am an elderly matriarch has earned the right of respect. My neighbor died recently in his 90's and his widow never stood for anyone. Not the governor, nor senators, nor representatives from the president. No one. Nor did anyone expect her to.
