    A little tour of Los Angeles during the coronavirus pandemic



    People are leaving, rents are down, and the homeless are still there.


    Not far away from the downtown, it looks like some slum in a Latin American country. The homeless encampments stretch for many blocks.
    Not just one area. He keeps driving and driving, and you just keep seeing more slums taking up the entire sidewalks.

    Empty luxury high-rises sit towering in the background. Most of them constructed just a few years ago.

    Private owned businesses are going permanently out of business. With the outrageous cost of rent there, there's no way they can afford to keep renting while they have been forced to close.
