Say hello to a new species of news anchor; Well the details may change to give him a more nostalgic look ie a Walter Cronkite or Dan Rather type thing~ short version ; A no Op news network? As a Zionist Christian with an persistent anger problem (caused by propganda passed off as cable/network news programs) I had an idea of a no spin, no corporate advertising, nor government input, nor pretty woman anchor work and be successful? I am thinking of the big time not an internet flash in the pan. Big time meaning a TV cable, or network program? I go into some detail in the long version (below). Long version of the thread ie ; A no Op news network? Such a news program should tell both sides of a story while report all the information available even questionable claims etc. The no spin network and media outlet* would be a kind of Consumer Reports of news. No advertising accepted, no government involvement allowed, no exceptions. Funding would be a problem, perhaps an insurmountable problem. However, the overhead costs should be less than producing a traditional cable news production such as CNN or network news like CBS. Another reason the costs should be less is that most famous news anchors make a zillion dollars a year, Max Headroom will work cheap, well unless he joins a CG or GG actors union that would demand all employers of CG persons must provide a soul or to be self aware, just like their AI Movie star AICG Actor counterparts. So to close this thing the talking point is; Since we all seem or claim to detest propaganda passed off as news, would the above work? Would a network cable production/program be successful etc? My opinion is yes, because its my idea, (lol) and if it were correctly ‘done’ a ‘NoOp MaxHeadroom’ News production would be wildly successful. reva
