The article makes good points. We do need to stop tolerating abuses by the Israeli government. If they want our support, they're going to need to start giving more in exchange. Netanyahu is an enemy of the US. Not a friend. And he has attacked our electoral system in a more blatant manner than Putin. It's time to hold him accountable.
One of the first steps IMO is to follow the lead of Australia--dual citizenship is fine, EXCEPT that if a person runs for government office, appointed or elected, he must resign/renounce the other country's citizenship. He must be a citizen ONLY of Australia. To allow the present circumstance to continue, holding loyalty to two different countries, invites problems of all sorts. Trump is clearly an Israel first sort of person. As it stands now, Israel fairly well controls the US government.
