I assume that they were able to travel freely from the spiritual world to ours, and they know technologies beyond what we know. Some of them may still be here, tho' most were sent to tartarus by Isua during the resurrections and others had their powers greatly diminished (Satan is definitely still here, he's the #1 globalist). There's the trick, and many will be fooled by them. How do you think the anti-Christ will gain power if he can't fool most people? Little documentary you might be interested in (and is very well done and very interesting, not the usual "christian" schlock) is called "The Coming Convergence" They argue we are the Last Generation, it's a good argument, overcomes most of the arguments I've had about the arrival of the End Times.
The first generation of Christians believed they would be the last. Every generation since has made failed predictions about the end times.
OH! so you understand the prophecies? Good ,, you should act on it, repent, ask forgiveness from Christ, and give your soul to the Lord. This world is doomed.
Failed prophecies aren't very convincing. End times prophecies are way more doomed than the world is.
words without meaning. My question centers on the criteria to distinguish God rom a deceiver. If I claimed to be God how could you prove I ‘m not? What is the objective criteria of proof? Suppose I refuse, as God, to submit to any diagnostic test ..because I am God I know who I am and it’s inconsequential whether you believe me or not. I’ve no need to convince you any more than I would to the trillions of other life forms on this planet alone.
My view is that others assert these gods exist, but they are invisible and don't appear to interact with the physical universe, yet they are supposedly omnipotent and omniscient. Why should I believe the assertion these abstracts exist? Just because others believe so? Simply out of tradition? Or because ancient texts claim thus? All pretty lame reasons, not to mention some being fallacious.
Read AND study AND try to understand the Bible.. if you don't, that'd be a pretty lame reason for going to the bad place. .. you know..... if, in your opinion Hell exist. and personally, I have had lotsa afavors from God.. the one capital "G" being.
Why do you assume I have not done that? I was a devout Catholic for years until I realised the dogma was irrational. Education was a powerful influence in my decision to walk away from superstitious belief systems.
Dogma? Wasn't that what Christ fought? Who are the Nicoliatians? They were legalist, and the Catholic dogma has become deeply legalistic. Keep looking and studying.
No thanks. Been there, done that, don't need it, don't care. Dogma: a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true. "the dogmas of faith" ~ Oxford Languages
My faith is in God, the one God, the Trinity, through the Son of Man, Jesus of Nazarene (t'was a back water I heard)
