I am not saying Biden is your choice and you like his policy, but if it is Biden vs Trump, the choice is very simple – one believes in US democracy and the other doesn’t.
So you find Biden’s politics so repulsive that you don’t mind giving up American democracy. Well, this is still a free country so Americans can choose what they want. Do they want $2 gas price or democracy? If they choose $2 gas price over democracy , they don’t deserve democracy.
You voted for Biden and he's actually trying to get us into the war you want. Why is he suddenly "politically repulsive?" It seems like you've been liking his policies.
Ok , so Biden policy is as bad as having authoritarian government. May be Americans need to live in authoritarian regime few hundred years where they can’t even discuss “ bad policy”. That will teach them what it is to have democracy. Sometimes you can’t teach people from books and theory, you must let them learn from experience.
As much as I would prefer a 3rd party option, things are now so close in my state that I can't lean on the "Well, my vote doesn't matter anyway" excuse anymore. And if Trump, objectively the biggest existential threat to our country's democracy, is indeed the GOP choice, I'll be voting Dem. Perhaps even straight-ticket for the first time in my life.
I don’t have any respect for these 3rd party voter. I have more respect for MAGA voter who at least believe in something. These 3rd party voter pretend they are “holier than thou”, and throw tantrums like kids and “ take their ball and go home” attitude. But you are right. We live in Democracy, they get to vote for whomever they want.
The Covid edicts they both participated in. Trump's bumpstock ban, Biden's pistol brace rule. I feel no need to provide any further examples as its a waste of all of our time since you know you're a blind partisan.
I find it extremely unlikely that Trump has this level of knowledge about our history. The man didn't even know that taking the guns and sorting it out later was about as unconstitutional as it gets. I doubt he's ever even read the constitution. Perhaps he skimmed through the Cliff's Notes version to pass a test.
US institutions are not some out of the world Artificial Intelligent which put checks and balance. US institutions are American people who oversee the US Institutions. In Trump administration we have seen one after another Institution failed to uphold it’s duty because they rather please Trump then follow the constitution. It is very naivety to think sending “anyone” to be head of the government can keep these institutions strong.
No, I very calmly stated earlier that I would vote for a 3rd party candidate whose competency and trustworthy character are things that exist.
