It is weird maybe because it is off to see a politician so low in the dumps considering most politicians bank the most WHEN they become politicians. They dont have to spend anymore than they need too because they have everything else paid for either through tax dollars or the donations they get in their "war chest" when they run for office. Then comes the backdoor deals and investments they get and so on. Take barack for example, in 2004 he was was worth around $200k between him and Michelle. Well now he is worth almost $8million and he only makes $400k as president per year. He sold books with his popularity and gained other investments. You think that man spends more than he has too with our tax dollars taking care of him and his expenses on top of all that?

Nancy Pelosi is worth some $26million, but she still spends a ton of tax dollars on alcohol lol.

Sounds to me Rubio is doing it very wrong lol, he is a bad investor of all things but it seems he doesn't dip into the tax money too much and take advantage of his place like most politicians do. As honest as he may be I don't think he is able to run the country if he can't even handle his own checkbook. Plus he is for illegal immigrants being rewarded for breaking our laws so that is another reason he is bad news for the country..

The only thing I wasn't thrilled about when it came to Romney was being a Mormon. I spent 3 years at Hill AFB, and married a Mormon (that's a story to have over MANY beers). Actually two things - I didn't like Ryan. When he said he was "just like us" and "forgot" to tell the Senate that he had a $5 million dollar mutual fund account; I decided he was full of crap. Nobama Bin Biden - those freaks just make me ashamed of our political system. The only time I didn't vote for the LP was when I voted once for Reagan and twice for Dubya. In retrospect if I had it to do over; the only thing I would change is I wouldn't have voted for Ron Paul. Turns out he really would NEVER have had Israel's back, which is important to me.

Is Pelosi a wino? She does look like she was ridden hard and put away wet. I believe Kerry married the chick that owns Heinz. Hitlery and Bubba are supposed to be worth like $50M. Carter is worth like $10M and owns a huge peanut farm. Bush owns part of Preston Bush's fortune, I would imagine. Same with his dad. I think all the Bush's are mega millionaires. Romney we know was like $250M. McCain is worth $10M. If this guy got to be president with a net worth of negative $1M; he'd be like the poorest POTUS in our history, or on a par with Grant and Lincoln. LOL

wow, that is crazy.... it's not common for most people to spend $2000-$3000 on these appliances... I would say it's only common for people with lots of money.....

if your having money issues, $1000 or less frig works just fine

The way I look at things, what is done is done. Nothing we can do to change anything outside of gripping about it. All we can do is move forward and try not to make the same mistakes we did in the past. That is something the United States seems unable to do, learn from history in order to avoid committing the same mistakes over and over and over.

    Bunch of nincompoops in D.C.

Lol well that just proves my point. The politicians ARE the 1% for the most part, hardly ever will you find one that hasn't turned their job that is supposed to be helping us and the country and instead make it a HUGE profit for themselves. John Kerry and the Bush family are kind of the exceptions, their families made money before politics was involved. Well Kerry married into the Heinz family and the Bush's grandfather married some Wall Street tycoons daughter and the rest is history. But still politics have greatly helped both expand their wallets. Kind of jacked up how politicians are supposed to be helping us but they end up fattening their pockets at a pretty large rate. Pretty good for just a public "servant" eh lol.

Rubio is the anomaly, he seriously took a wrong turn somewhere lol.

Again it depends on the size and what you need it for or how much food you are going to store. I got friends, just regular joes who work 9 to 5 that have 2 or 3 big ass fridges to pack deer meat from hunting. Myself I needed a large fridge because I do a lot of grilling and the best one I could find to accommodate my needs to store meats and such was $2k. Washer and dryer was another $1600. And you do not need to have $2k in full to buy these accessories because most people finance them. Yes it is more common than you think for people to get these fridges or more expensive and better accommodating appliances.

Spending $3k on this stuff is not as major of a purchase as you may believe. $3k these days is not (*)(*)(*)(*) lol.

Yes its fascinating, they are all of a sudden aware of balancing a checkbook when they are attacking a republican for 1500 bucks but not Obama for 8 Trillion. Well at least they are becoming aware of budgets now, hopefully next they can figure out what the zeros are at the end of the numbers. Baby steps!

See if I had a basement or that extra space I would have bought a freezer like that, but for some reason here in Memphis most homes are built without basements. That's why I love houses in the north, most have big ass basements lol.

Voting for McCain or Romeny would have been voting for the lessor of two evils.

    - - - Updated - - -

How about to the deficit, something they are supposed to be managing and not by how much they can mandate for someone else as a reward.

So back on track here, if this is an example of why Rubio should not be elected than how about the Hillary supporters reconcile that with her venturing into the Cattle futures trading when they have no net worth and as an example

"The question of margin calls is relevant here, because had Bone and Blair played by the rules, according to James Glassman of the New Republic, in July of 1979 (a publication which, by the way, would not be included in any "vast right-wing conspiracy"), Hillary should have received a margin call to put up $117,500. No such call was issued, though it undoubtedly would have come from any other commodities office."

That means they were bankrupt, even before they left the White House. And that is only one occasion.

That global-warming resistant model with special floatation feature for when the dangling appendage state is inundated?

(I seriously doubt the Rube's penury will distract the wacko birds from their Hillary fixation for more than a moment or two. The 482 GOP presidential aspirants could all assemble on stage and collectively moon the American public, and they'd be raving about her resultant cackle.)

voting for the lesser of two evils still leaves you with an evil winner, voting for the least worst candidate even if he wins, still leaves you with a very bad winner.

Until Americans wise up to the above facts, which I think they never will. We will continue to have bad leadership and continue down the road to our own destruction.

Yeah - these mega millionaires aren't doing you and I any favors. That's for sure. It's all for the purpose of being in some prestigious inner circle that only had forty some-odd folks in it.

They are not going to do us any favors, they could care less about doing us any favors. We will not have a good government, left or right wing, until we get the average joe back into office. All politicians are is old money, they might as well be royalty and we are nothing but commoners to them.

There is less doubt about who you support then there is about the sun rising at dawn.
