Addicts convince themselves of all kinds of things when needing a fix. Rather than use the two months to wean himself off of his drug, Drano Don stole as much money as he could, and threatened as many people as he could, looking for that power fix. It must have been excruciating for him.

    "Stand back and stand by."
-- Donald J. Trump, to the Proud Boys

    That's a strange condemnation.

I may appreciate your concern but I am all too well versed on cancer and cell performance for reasons not related to politics and not related to this thread as an analogy. The Proud Boys though not Racist as far as I can tell but violent yes indeed. You seem to be giving them a pass because you say that the PB only respond to violence but vigilantism is not necessarily good. In fact actually not good in that we do not need an uncontrolled gangs killing other groups of uncontrolled gangs. You may say "whatabout" criminal gangs killing each other and innocents? Would you seriously want have political criminal gang? Did we not have enough of gangs of politically inspired terrorists and criminals at the Capitol? We also have had enough from the jerk who inspired them I would think.

My whole point is that the Proud Boys are not a white supremacy group and they do not represent even a majority of Trump supporters.
I am against all forms of political violence, and just like I was condemning the violence during the summer of love, I condemned the violence in the capitol. I voted for Trump and think both sides need to take it down a few notches. Trump addressed a lot of very legitimate, pressing problems that many prior politicians refused to address and these issues won’t disappear with Trump leaving the political scene.
This whole Proud Boys thread is a farce - progressives dug up some “anonymous statement” who claimed something about Proud Boys, and then someone else projects that claim (and we don’t even know if it’s even true!) on all people who voted for Trump without even touching on the real issues of why 75 million people voted for the guy in the first place.
I’m presenting here real political issues and am faced with “racism” and “white supremacism” claims by the left without any real attempt to even acknowledge that there are things that Trump was addressing that 75 million fellow Americans supported.
Maybe it’s time for the left to brush off TDS with group think and start addressing real policy ideas that come out from their political opponents?

You say that there are 75 million people who voted for FPT and that they have issues that you feel you need to represent. Ok represent them but you seem to ignore the real issues that 81 million people did not vote for FPT. Do you not think that the 81million who did not vote for FPT have real issues?
I will agree that there were some issues that FPT presented. You know why 81 million people may have either ignored those issues or those issues were not a factor.?

FPT squandered even the thin shread of credibility he had. He further showed that he made about 100 % of his decisions for his personal reasons , personal revenge, and for his own personal.benefit.
I was a Trump supporter soon after he started running the first time. Then he attacked John MCCain on a personal basis. At that point I realized that FPT lacked the moral foundation to be POTUS. You may say why? If FPT attacks someone strictly for personal reason I said to myself will .that guy make decisions for the national internal policies and for foreign relation and foreign policy decisions on a personal bests?
    Yes and he did.

Look at this 2020 election where Trump set the foundation for his great lie that he won the election before the the election started when he said he would only accept the results if he wins. Then he .lost and he lied a million times about wide spread fraud, fixed election, stolen ballots, stolen election, imported ballots from North Korea, tabulators remotely controlled, dead people voting as if massive millions of Walking Dead came to voting districts for same day voting like Zombies and voted. I managed a voting district I did not see any Walkimg Dead . May the first two people waiting in line when I called the polls open and waved two assistants to simutaneously open the doors there may have been two Zombies.

You know that there was no massive voter and no voter fraud that affected the results in any state or even any district

You know that Trump called his fans and domestic terrorists to "protest" the"steal". You know that Trump lacked credibitility. So enough people in enough states voted him out for what I have to agree was that he lost his credibility.

You know I am not a Democrat and I knew that I do not agree with Biden one certain things and policies. That iscomming true with some of the EO's Uncle Joe signed. But I know that Biden will make decisions based on what he believes is best for the country not on " but do us a favor" and "Russia are you listening".

    EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT

You may have seen my posts that say I am from Connecticut only 18 minutes drive from Newtown where Sandy Hook school is located. When Alex Jones schiests on the souls of those 20 children he Schiests on their parents and he Schiests on all of us in Connecticut and he Schiests on all good honest people in America. Even some Trump fans do not believe Alex Jones about the deaths of those 20 precious angels that that monster murdered was staged by Obama or Deep State. I know I have asked some Trump fans and most of those said no they do not believe Alex Jones. My God one would have hoped that 100% of Trump fans would reject the lies of Alex Jones.

Anyway I still am hopeful for the future that there are at least an undetermined number of Trump fans who do not believe Alex Jones conspiracy about Sandy Hook.

Do you share my ever so guarded optimism??

I respect their wishes. Do you see me running around breaking stuff that doesn’t belong to me? Did we have “not my president riots” on the Inauguration Day?

Trumps attacks on McCain never sat well with me too. I didn’t vote for him in 2016 because I allowed Trump’s surface (outrageous behavior) to eclipse the substance of his platform.

I lost a lot of respect to Trump over his claims that the election was fraud. Again, Trump is a person, but his platform is very legitimate, and it could be adapted by some other future candidate.

I know that there was ridiculous lack of oversight in some states, but considering the fact that states don’t even have to have presidential elections (from purely technical point of view), the whole election fraud cry is a moot point - if local state democrats are powerful enough to do some fraud, they have enough power to just override the vote result point blank out in the open without any legal consequences.

He did not call on domestic terrorists to do anything. He called on his followers to fight the fraud. The word fight can be interpreted as using perfectly legitimate and legal means.
As far as I know he never called for violence.

Eveyone knows his personality isn’t very trustworthy.

I have serious doubts about that. A president who needed a major boost from big tech and monopolistic mass media corporations received a lot of favors that would probably need to be repaid. Same thing with incredible local Democratic support (WuFlu hysteria is a perfect example), which will result in the president repaying them by propping up their poorly-ran budgets and feed their irresponsible decisions. Oh, and his son doesn’t project the image of being a responsible citizen.

Perhaps you will explain..".why 75 million people voted for the guy in the first place".
I could understand why 75 million would vote for someone like McCain....but voting for tRump makes no sense at all

I know exactly were I was when my cell phone sent out an alert about Sandy Hook. Just as I recall 911 and the exact study hall I was in when Kennedy got shot because I got in trouble a few seconds before for talking to a girl behind me.

You claimed that all Trump supporters who were involved in the capitol riot were white supremacists. Aren’t you supposed to back up your claims with facts? You made that claim, so the homework is on you!

QANON theorists, which were a percentage of those who stormed the Capitol, are now being recruited by radical right wing nut jobs
