well, first of all we're not talking about modular sporting rifles (what you meant when you said "assault rifle.") and secondly, you do realize MSRs are no different in functionality and lethality than a standard deer hunting rifle. i hope.

 

It seems that "pro-choicers" do not think rape is all that bad because the woman can always just abort. Nothing of any big consequence. "Just a little medical procedure"

300M people. That's a whole lot of assessing. Many of whom don't have the tools to assess correctly.
And a mistake in assessing can be a very horrible and even wrong and deadly action if the weapon is used.

What would I say to them? Don't force women to hide their guns in their uterus for nine months.

What would I tell you? Don't force a woman who doesn't want to expose herself to the invasive pelvic exam and following trial to claim rape if she isn't emotionally prepared to do so. Don't FORCE a woman to go through that indignity to get rid of her rapist's baby. And don't pretend that isn't exactly what you want to do when you limit abortion to rape victims.

And science and medicine tells us that the fetus is not viable outside the mother's womb prior to the 21 week. No baby has ever survived younger than 21 weeks and 4 days. And science and medicine tells us that any pregnancy can end in complications that may kill the mother up the time the baby leaves that womb. At what point does the mother loose her right to life in your scenario?

But of course, it did give you a really lame-assed excuse to sidestep the fact that limiting abortions to rape FORCES a rape victim to publicly declare the rape, even if she is emotionally unprepared to do so, just so she can rid herself of a rapist's baby.
