Based on the comments I've heard, I was under the impression that his opinion is that "the constitution" overrides the laws he broke, therefore he was a victim.

No, they are unconstitutional, however they remain in force unlawfully. There is a difference. But I don't expect the simpletons in law enforcement to understand that. There mission is to do and not to question - one which they do with murderous efficiency and quite effectively. I do wish more officers used their brains more though. You mean Dzhokhar Tsarnaev? Innocent until proven guilty. There's reasonable doubt that he was set up. Until the necessary questions are answered and he's given a fair trial, he deserves presumption of innocence.

Gun ownership, seems like he had no problem buying and owning guns, the 2nd A is still in place and doing fine, now that is about to be a convicted felon that will be changing for him, GOOD, we would not want him hurting himself or others. So he is protesting something, whatever that is, it landed him and jail, he got what he wanted, he and everyone else should be happy as a pig in mud.
